Hope we can be of service.

The IRA has returned to British Isles.

If the RMB is very active it'll be very hard to follow through with whatever is being talked about and much harder to even try to have two conversations at once. Not that RMBs shouldn't be active but and RMB isn't a replacement for a forum just as the forums isn't a replacement for the RMB.

The Federation of MapIestan wrote:You're quite right, and another thing that I personally don't like about Pax Britannia is that all their role playing takes place in the 2030s and is really hard to follow. I really miss the good old British Isles days when you could fight with, like, tanks and stuff. Now it's all "antimatter bomb here, nova bomb there, three billion killed".

Opinions, everyone has them, and unfortunately ours seems to hold more credence, if the state's of the two Regions are to be observed.

We left because Basementees and myself felt we were being left out of government actives. See, the nations here who claimed to govern us were exclusively on the offsite forums, which barely had any activity, and the bulk of us were only on the RMB. Since a lot of people have lives outside of NS we didn't want to have to manage two accounts on two websites. Base and I attempted to get the founder's password peacefully but the current king basically told me where I could shove that idea, so we left and took all the active RMB nations.

That's a quick history lesson for you.

The tone of tha RMB post is most uncalled for.

Alright, it's time to make an announcement.

On the topic of Pax Brittania and commentary on our RMB, I have tried to be at the least understandable to what they desire, but at this point it's gotten to the point that it needs to be addressed. Edward felt that it was best to re-open relations with you lot, I gave the benefit of the doubt for I do not like having negative relations with others. However at this point I feel as this was a mistake. If you want to make your region and run it your way, go for it. You guys have washed your hands clean of the British Isles, accept it and stop acting belligerent on OUR RMB. If more negative comments keep pouring in, embassy closure becomes a topic.

Now onto greener pastures, the rebuilding process is coming along for the most part. I'm not sure how many of you live in the United States, but it's currently APs and I've been held up with schoolwork. I will try to be as utterly transparent and active as I can be with the community for now.

My goals for this week include but are not limited to:
-Re-modelling the WFE
-Finalizing the forums (It is still not decided if we are going to be using the new one or return to the old one)
-I need to have an active discussion with the members of the region on a system of government.

The Westminster system that we tried to emulate in the beginning, it doesn't seem to work well enough for us. Furthermore, the open parliament didn't work too well either but that may have been due to lack of activity. I don't want to simply pick something and implement it, I want input from regional members. I tried picking in November and that failed miserably.

Once we figure out what we want as a region, we can start moving forward. I will be starting up an auto-recruiter soon too.

I think we should use the new forum. The old one should stand as a testament to a past gone by, which should be open for everyone to see by the way.

Hear, Hear!

I'm back!

The discussion I was hoping to have didn't really exist it seems. Shame. Does no one wish to comment on how they think the government of the region should work? If no one is interested, I'm not sure if it's worth refounding. :/

It's also decided that we should use a new forum.

This is a slow process, but together we can make the British Isles better than it ever was.

People won't be jumping right into the refounding. There needs to be some sort of initiative from someone that can actually get things going and then people might sprung about.
