Another senseless shooting. While it's on a much smaller scale than what is happening in other parts of the world, murder is murder whether it be by an individual, a militia, or government. :'(

When the US has had the right to bear arms since it's inception, why is it that only in the last couple of decades have these atrocities been taking place?
You do have a point. Why didn't this happen earlier in the history of the US?
I think that we now have much better access than what they did in the 17/18 hundreds, Also some colleges are applying for the right to bear arms on all campuses. But, like my US history teacher told the class, the only way around this is to put metal detectors on every store front and everywhere else, thus would almost make the 2nd amendment null and void.
More people, more atrocities. Also it is more common for news agencies to blow up over it. Modern breaking news jsut hours alter is fairly recent, so a lot of murders just kinda stay low key.

24 hours would work for more active regions.. this one is kinda sleepy for a GCR so I picked 48 hours..
I feel that 48 hours encourages sleepiness and that 24 hours encourages people to log in every 24 hours. Furthermore, I feel we are pretty active for a gcr.
Maybe we could compromise at 36 hours???
