Wharggle? I don't...what sport? Is this NS or RL? Um, yay!?

Speaking of NS Sports, I am only able to bring home the Plate (aka Silver) to Astyria. Argh!! I lost 23-25 to Ko-oren in the final. Two lousy points!
Hutanjia lost too, and won't get the bronze. This is not a good start to my day, but...I got the silver, so...linings, clouds, etc.

It's the furthest thing from sports. Haha. It's a prestigious, annual RL skills and knowledge competition between unis offering Hospitality and Tourism Management courses. :p

Anyone working on any GAW posts?

Yes, expect a Gaul and NE post soon for that. The Gaul one is mostly written but needs edits and the NE one is mostly in my head.

Oh, and speaking of...I know I asked this before, but on a related note, who NS wise was making cars in 1920? I think deAlaya, and maybe one of Vizion's companies? Doesn't have to be Astyrian, but I would prefer it. If this pertains to you, model names would be appreciated too.

deAlaya wasn't founded until 1928 so they're out. Sorry. :|

I think I replied to this before...Steedcraft Motors Group existed at the time, and their models were largely named after dogs; for example, Mastiff, Rottweiler. They also mass-produced then Canterbury series of cars.

I do remember that now, and I copied it to a text file to my old hard drive which is now in a scrap heap somewhere in Ghana or China. Thanks for the reminder.

Well, Pavlovo Automotive Plant (PAP) was known as Steyr Romberg from 1915-1918, Bergen Avto from 1918-1939, and Red Star Automotive Plant from 1939 to 1975, so yeah it's possible on our end.

Time to get my ports back.

Angelbridge is making cars over here

Rom and BC, models?

The rombergian arctic islands

Never really gave PAP's ancient models a thorough thought, but just think Duesenberg and Cadillac. Mainly luxury cars, with straight 6 and straight 8 engines as the main bulk of the range. Just use the power output in hp as the model name e.g. Bergen 24hp.

Trucks, so far we import from other countries. Like AC.

I'll do writeups for them tonight

Anybody wanna be a real hero and make me a logo for Angelbridge Automotives? I have no particular ideas in mind, although I do have this: http://oi57.tinypic.com/24az8ro.jpg

Which is the logo for Angelbridge Cola, by the same people. They make both soda and cars, long story. Anyone, if anyone can make me a cool log and incorporate that text there, you would be a hero of the Confederacy and will garner my eternal praise

Sure, I can give it a whirl, BC.

Is it for now or a 20s logo?

We have enough info now to do a iiwiki on Astyrian autos of the early 20th century. Hint hint.

Sorry I didnt see this earlier, but the one you made looks perfect Woody, thanks again!

This night was just...ohmahgawd.
