Honestly we did much, much better than the rest of the world.

Damn won't be able to help with cleansing. Ipod didn't charge last night leaving it at 20% battery life. I'm likely unable to do anything till this afternoon

I'm awake, I've got my puppet set to Exterminate and my main set to Research.

What? No one should be exterminating. We've been ejecting everyone who starts exterminating, because our goal is no dead, no infected.

Also: good work everyone. With our time only half up, we've been extremely successful.
However -- as has already been said -- we should stay tuned for a complication. I will try to check back in about half an hour or so to see if anything's happened by then.

I will change it.

So I checked the Tally Board and we are currently ranked #43.

I think we could've done better. I noticed as early as 2 hours in, a lot of snags that complicated our efforts. I'll be coming up with a list of improvements for next year shortly.

Nature-spirits wrote:Gren is now down to 0 zacks. Thanks to everyone who helped me out with doing that.
(Yes, Gren, I know I didn't have to cure you all the way, but I had to vent some steam, so I thought, "Hey, I'll go get rid of some zombies".)

In a similar vein, our tactics seem to be extremely effective. Here are my graphs again for a visual: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bahfIg55JNgqVoAId7PYXOc1TMQbFmWTunxDTJaUrCQ/edit?usp=sharing

But now I have to go again. I'll likely be back in about 10-11 hours.

Muchas gracias.

G-Tech Corporation wrote:After the hour I'll be popping over to help the Gatehouse; some community solidarity, since they got swamped. Gren, would you mind TGing me the password?

I'm open to either not coming back, or coming back between hours to prevent infection. Whichever works for our cause.

I'm sorry, I was asleep, I'll send it shortly.

Anti-zed squad one wrote:Given we'll be seeing most Zeds dead in the next few hours, and we still have ~24 to go, I presume there's a plot twist coming.

My money is on the dead reanimating, and regional border control failing. Both are staples of zombie fiction, and don't occur currently in NS.

Max is that much of a b@stard.

I was thinking similarly.

Erinkita ii wrote:Nicely done. I'm proud of all of us.

I'm proud of all yall as well. Sorry I couldn't stick around to help out more.

Condunum wrote:When dear leader gets back we need to see about coordinating a community cleansing effort like last time. And only accept people with no dead.

Agreed.

First of all, I think we should've gotten organized faster. We should've also sent out a regional TG to everybody explaining exactly what we were going to do. And we should've had a clearer chain of command, along with a designated target designator, and a cure monitor (to monitor who was and wasn't curing).

That said, we've still done an EXCELLENT job, and we are 11th in the world for most survivors with no infected.

I'd also like to propose an Ankh Mautan Expeditionary Force, to go out into the other regions of the world and start curing.

I'll volunteer for that

If we have attack forces we need to focus on cure-focused regions. If the leadership is going for zed, they might overwhelm us.

This is one of Gren's puppets. I agree, and request any interested volunteers head to [region]region=gatehouse_by_the_p2tm[/region]. They need serious help.

The infection rate is bothering me: it says we have 0.0% infected, but then it also says we have 3 million infected. Does this mean that we still have someone in the region who isn't completely cured?

Checked the regional happenings for any new comers, and its G-tech. He came in from curing another region, and got infected a little bit (not bad, though). His infected is going down, though.

Something I just noticed. The nation of Max Empire (a Gatehouse nation) hasn't had any activity for 27 days (and obviously hasn't chosen any options), and their Zack population started being exterminated about 13 hours ago, yet the happenings don't reveal anybody sending in extermination teams. Perhaps this is the twist Max put in?

It could be the zed dying on their own because they decay or something.

Yeah, but I don't recall that happening last time, and definitely not the first time (I missed the first 16 hours of the first time around).

The Zombies do eventually die on their own; the disease is, in the end, regrettably fatal.

I'm assuming that is this years twist.

No, because it happened last year too.

Zombies die.

I mean, they eat, right?

Huh. Maybe its earlier this year.

Nationstatelandsville wrote:Zombies die.

True. It could also be survivors killing them.

Radioactive childhood memories wrote:Huh. Maybe its earlier this year.

They tend to burn through any nation not actively trying to stop them very quickly.

Haha. Survivors. Yes.

We are not intelligent zombies killing our kin to work our way into your human society. That would be ridiculous.

It occurs to me that we might be holding the NIND record. Could somebody check that out for me? I'm busy helping the Gatehouse.
