Pffft... BF4. Ghost is where it's at.
That's cool. I'm awesome.
I also have every free game they gave us, Plants vs Zombies, and Sniper Elite.
Mhm.
PvZ and SE are good fun.
So... wanna play something?
Not currently, but thanks
Well, I still made a possible friend.
Mission Success..?
Yes.
TG me your Gamer Tag if you want.
Pfft... consoles. Steam, bitches.
I have both.
My friend's giving me his older computer. Though he says it can't run great games. So eventually I'm gonna have to upgrade to something more powerful.
PC master race.
Yeah, if you're thinking Steam games, you're gonna' need a graphics card from this decade at the very least.
Yeah, Steam is as sh*t as consoles now. Possibly worse. No quality control, spotlight is a piece of sh*t, early access is f_cking retarded, Indie is about to go through a market crash...
I love steam, but the console market is infinitely more stable.
To be honest a card from 2012 doesn't even cut it for Warframe anymore, and Warframe is F2P...
I mean, you can probably play Planetside 2, but that's because the engine they built for that is... a god send.
I have no goddamn idea what you're saying, I just like not having to leave my office.
Early Access gaming is a steam feature where you play incomplete games. Like a beta, but not. A lot of Early Access games are pay to play, so you have to fork over 10 to 40 bucks for the promise of a complete game, and as Earth: Year 2066 Taught us, that is a bad thing to do. Very, very bad. And the Indie market is over saturated, just like the console market was in 1983. It's expected to crash soon.
Basically if I have a point here, it's that you can trust AAA console publishers to at least not push it too far, but the Indie market hasn't learned the lesson big devs still keep in the back of their heads.
All we need now is Atari to release an ET anniversary game and we can have a proper market crash.
But you assume the indie market is wholly separate from the gaming market as a whole, which isn't necessarily true. Though I wouldn't know.
It's not, but you can separate the market into two major categories, AAA and Indie, since those are the two largest markets (with some overlap, but generally AAA means big companies)
Indie market crashing? F*ck yeah. I was tired of all the sh*tty early access games with zombies being released on Steam and getting bought by whining LPers.
You have strange priorities.
What happens with Steam?
It's not what happens with it, it's what's happening to it.
You and me both, brother. Indie has a lot of "made for youtube" games, and they aren't profitable, or sustainable.
I want more Papers Please and Spacechem and less DayZ and The Forest. That's how I phrase my opinion.
