To be fair, our news cycle has been jammed in "Race Relations" for the past few months.
There were lots of good points being made in that article. One that jumped out at me seemed especially ironic: "Many Kenyans are upset about American travel warnings imposed on their country in light of recent attacks like those at the Westgate Mall and Garissa University, but some said they had the perception that travellers would be in more danger in America than in their region." It's an interesting perspective, and while I don't feel that I can pass judgement simply due to the fact that I don't have the experience or the statistics to do so, I think that it deserves attention.
I did disagree with the complaint that the SCOTUS ruling wasn't the right thing to do, and I think it maybe reflects a misunderstanding of the legal process involved (i.e. It wasn't about whether it's the right thing to do, but rather about whether it's constitutional -- not "Should gay people be able to marry?", but rather "Does the constitution support same-sex marriage?" -- and while the prior is a moral issue, the latter is a legal issue), but I do think that anyone who wishes to express their opinion on the matter -- whether that's in support or in opposition of the ruling -- should feel free to do so, as long as they don't resort to insults and violence (and they did make a good point that many people in opposition are being targeted simply for expressing an opinion). I'm all for free speech, as long as it doesn't progress into hate speech and violence.
And, anyways, the fact of the matter is that most of America already had decided in favor of gay marriage (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_the_United_States#States_and_territories_that_fully_licensed.2Frecognized_same-sex_marriage). The core of our republic is that we accept the actions of our elected governments as tantamount to our vote unless other governmental venues prove otherwise; in other words, that the state governments had decided in favor of gay marriage for 69.4% of the population is equivalent to 69.4% of the population voting in favor of gay marriage. To say nothing of opinion polls or the likely results of a national referendum on the matter.
In other words, that argument is horsesh*t, random Kenyan guy.

Well.
I fear that this gentleman does not understand how the internet works. If you confess to a crime on tumblr, you have still confessed to a crime.
Board went down.
So I'm pretty excited because I can finally start revealing more about the Beast in World on Fire.
I have spent about half an year brainstorming that character.

If Hilary Clinton is elected, it will be the first time two American presidents have had sex with each other that we know of.
But definitely not the first time.
