And I must agree, too, that perfection is dull.
Sure.
I'm not a scientific type, though most of my friends are. Until they get me lasers, I'd rather sit around and wax lyrical about sunsets.
Waxing lyrical about sunsets is always fun, of course.
I must correct myself.
I'll do Business, and then I'll get an MBA.
If God wills it, there's a rare but possible chance of you or G-Tech eventually yelling about the f*ck ups of the new Italian guy in Accounting, and I'll be that guy, Night.

This. I enjoyed this.
Omar Sharif is dead. This is a dammed shame.
So I'm playing this writer simulator called Bestseller.

This is the result.
So Reddit's CEO resigned after coming under fire for "being a SJW".
Indi is probably full on fighting the culture war. I'm warding away from there for a while.
She went back to the deep dark abyss that is Tumblr.
Eh. I think it's less a sign of a times than Ellen not being up for it.
From what I understand, her great crimes are "trying to create safe spaces" and "attempting to eliminate hate speech", since firing one moderator is hardly enough to warrant all this kerfuffle on its own.
So I think it's more a sign of how truly, utterly awful human beings most of the people on Reddit are than anything else.
Is harassment why she quit, though?
I read something about the board dissatisfied with growth. Which I would completely buy.
Perhaps, but the website would have you believe they drove her out with pitchforks and torches.
Yes, but what does that mean?
From what I gather, Reddit is under the impression that they drove Pao out by making certain large subreddits private for a weekend and posting memes of "Chairman Pao", as well as continuously harassing her and the staff, without regard for what internal machinations may have led to her leaving.
I understand. I just don't see why that matters, what they think.
I think Reddit caved, yeah. They didn't want to lose their user base and are a bunch of cowards.
It matters because the story they believe is the story that the rest of the internet is going to hear. As awful as certain parts of this website are, the existence of NSG means that this is one of the only parts of the internet I've seen where people think to fact-check without being told.
Very cool.
I am, for some reason, reminded of laser sharks from Austin Powers.
