The North Korean system terrifies me, but I had a dream the other night I punched Kim Jong Il.
Do not be afraid of Juche or North Korea. They will never attack, if they are not attacked. Excluding, of course, South Korea, as they are also of the Korean race. And, therefore, a struggle for unification is worth attacking for - in their eyes.

Loliland, the idea of North Korea attacking anyone is not the issue; their pretence at being a workers' state or in any way socialist offends me. In geopolitics, they're just as bad as the Americans, playing with nuclear weaponry whilst the country languishes. At any rate, they aren't the bogeyman they are made out to be, and but for the creation of a new branch of the CWI in North Korea, I don't think much about them. It helps being on the other side of the world of course.
Yes. I agree that they are not socialist in the Marxist sense.
However, they are very much collectivist and are on a level with Stalinism.
At the same time, they are similar to the Nazis, in the sense that they believe only Koreans can be truly socialist, as collectivism and socialism runs in their veins. All other races are truly evil, as they are born evil and are filthy races. That's why they execute as many foreign-blooded people as possible.
So, they are in a world of their own: race-purity - they believe they are an innocent child-race and must be protected by the Dear leader and sons - from the evil capitalist races, ie. anyone other than Korean.
Yes. So you can imagine why people would find that system frightening - as frightening as we would have found Stalin's Russia.
What is it with these one-nation regions and their embassies?
