The dukedom of the jelavian highlands

Hey, anyone know what the situation is in the place we went and invaded? It doesn't look like our delegate is in power anymore, but I haven't seen the banhammers go down. I am out of the loop though; every time I try to go to the forum page, I get hit with an error.

The haven republic

I added a new religion to my nations factbook.

Selūne: The goddess of the moon governs the ebb and flow of tides and comforts the world with her silvery glow in the black of night. She constantly battles the darkness of her sister Shar. The ranks of Selūne's faithful include mariners, travelers, and those who seek comfort in the night. Selūne is kind, caring, and ageless, ever waxing and waning in power.
Worshipers of Selūne are known as Selūnites.

Haven's Religion's

by The haven republic

Zamorakianism: Zamorak, pronounced Zam-oh-rack, is the god of Chaos and Power. He is one of the three major gods known to nearly all contemporary characters (the other two being Saradomin and Guthix). While his influence has spread throughout the world, it is often practiced as a clandestine affair. He has many small groups of followers peppered across Kandarin, Asgarnia, and Misthalin, and also has expansive influence over the Wilderness and Morytania. His symbol closely resembles lower case Greek letter omega and is usually shown in red.

The Religion: Zamorakian ideals hold chaos, power, and self-improvement in high regard. In the impulsive pursuit of chaos, immorality is of little concern, especially when set in contrast with Saradominism. Though not all Zamorakians are necessarily cruel, opposers of Zamorak like to use this contrast to portray Zamorak as an "evil" god who represents destruction, taint, and that which is wrong with humanity. However, being the god of chaos is not necessarily the same as being the god of evil or cruelty; some Zamorakians, notably some Dagon'Hai members, are known to actually be very personable and pleasant to interact with.

That being said, many Zamorakians still tend to have intentions that stray from the common ideas of morality. It is suspected that some Zamorakians participate in sacrificial necromantic rituals and murder in cold blood; both acts that would be ostracized in Saradomnist societies. Often, non-human races that follow Zamorak will consider weaker beings, particularly humans, to be disposable and without much use. As a general rule, Zamorakians look down on those with less power and no drive to pursue it. This may apply to physically weaker people or Saradominists, but it may also be interpreted as a lack of freedom, as many Zamorakians claim that chaos represents freedom (though this claim remains in dispute).

Saradominism: Saradomin (SA-rah-DOME-in) is one of the oldest "younger" gods upon whom the Saradominist religion is based. Saradomin’s ideologies include wisdom, order and light. He is regarded as the most popular god among humans, particularly on the main land. Saradomin’s followers reside in the Kingdoms of Misthailin, Asgarnia and Kandarin, the islands of Entrana and Harmony and the Icyene homeworld, otherwise known as New Domina. His symbol is a four-pointed star, usually gold or silver in colour. Saradomin is the only god known to have been human prior to his ascension.

The Religion: The ideologies behind Saradominism is that he and his wisdom will keep order on Gielinor "Haven" and his light will guard followers against the darkness of evil. These ideals conflict with the ideologies of Zamorak who sees destruction and chaos necessary for progess, power, advancement. According to the Sarothic creed, order is the key to prosperity, safety, peace, humanity, and happiness in life. Followers believe Saradomin to be the true god of "good” and both he and some of his followers will kill to maintain their ideologies in the belief that they are doing good. It is worthy to note that not all Saradominists will necessarily kill to achieve "good" - it is said in Saradomin's Holy Book to have mercy upon enemies; the White Knights are such people as they believe in a Saradominist code of honor.

Furthermore, while the Church of Saradomin believes it has the noblest of interests, skeptics denounce the religion as corrupt. Such skeptics accuse the ideologies of Saradomin and his followers interpretations of good or order as not necessarily "good", and cite how most established and extreme Saradominists practice blind, murderous discrimination's against those dedicated to less-orderly gods like goblins and werewolves. Examples of these followers include the Humans Against Monsters (H.A.M), Temple Knights, and the Icyene, Commander Zilyana.

Guthixianism: Guthix, pronounced Guh-thicks, is the god of Balance. Before the events of The World Wakes, Guthix was thought to lack any form of gender (though, for convenience, most refered to him as male). He is neither good nor evil, but rather approaches things from an initially neutral standpoint and will act on either side of the spectrum in favor of what re-establishes equilibrium and balance.

The Religion: "The way of Guthix" entails as much as acquiring balance, resulting in an/the Equilibrium. It holds no other goal. However, because this ideal is so flexible, the typical followers of Guthix can be divided into three groups: Modernist, Traditionalist, and Reformist. All, however, have deeply set intentions to uphold the balance of order and chaos.

Modernists: Modernists are probably the largest group of Guthixians because most people are modernists. They believe in balance more loosely, and will tend to side with the ideals of one of the other two major gods. They acknowledge Saradomin and Zamorak as the new gods of order and chaos. It's not uncommon for these followers to also worship either Zamorak or Saradomin just as much.

Traditionalists: Traditionalists are a bit more strict to the beliefs and teachings of Guthix's ideals on balance.

Reformists: Reformists acknowledge Saradomin as the successor to Armadyl and Zamorak to Zaros. They say that Armadyl gave Saradomin the power of a god and Zamorak took it from Zaros. Armadyl hid away in his realm. Zaros was forced into his realm. They acknowledge that Armadyl and Zaros are still gods but their successors have taken their place in order and chaos.

Godlessness: These are the ones who have discovered the true will of Guthix, the ones who know of his wish to not be worshipped and for the gods themselves to not be in Gielinor. They do not worship Guthix so as to honor his last wish, and same follows for all other gods. Godless may no longer worship him, but many still hold fast to his ideals of balance. Traditionalist would support, and can be known in this category also.
