And I'm late for my muffin pickups. I take it we still got a whole bunch left?

Never played any Fire Emblem, but thanks to a video I watched a while ago I'm quite familiar with Genealogy of the Holy War, the fourth game in the series released in Japan. Won't spoil anything, but it's possibly the most depressing game I've yet to play considering what happens halfway through...

Closest game to Fire Emblem I've played is another Japan-only game called Bahamut Lagoon, another strategy-RPG and one of the few I've played.

That moment when you realize you have just passed 6 years on NS. I am so thankful that there are so many crusty old folks on NS that can make me feel like a newb.

Since most players here are between 20-30 years old anyone over 35 can be considered a crusty old folk.

NS hasn't been around for 20-30 years. :|

The players are 20-30, not the game

I thought most players were teens.

You are a newb. Why, I remember when you were all brand new and such. You used to regale us with tales of epic bouts of...um, well, never mind all that. The rest of you will have to take my word for it, it was epic indeed. I'm so very glad you stuck it out.

You're getting all old man on us, Woon.

I know I'm very definitely new. My nation's not even a year old yet.

On an entirely different note, who here plays or has played Fire Emblem Awakening? About to kill Grima on my second playthrough of the game.

I really wanted to play that, but i don't have a 3DS, so i only watch the support conversations in Youtube.

The closest i will ever get to watching an anime.

Hi, 1.44 am in Italy now. I'm a new player, here just from three days. Am i the only 17 yrs old here? :P i love government simulation games, sadly there aren't much around... i played and re-played Democracy 3 for months. This browser game it's nice but i'd like that there were more options to personalize the government, or more things to do daily, but still nice.

You're definitely in the right place. Nation States provides a great foundation for the game, but if you really want to get involved and have more daily tasks you need to be active in the community. Posting in the Regional Message Board (RMB) will help get your name and face out there, and registering on the forum (http://10000islands.proboards.com/) will open up a whole new world to you. Additionally, joining the World Assembly gives you a few more options to directly affect your nation.

In hindsight I may have celebrated the footy results a little too hard last night.

Either:

1. They haven't noticed.
2. They're offline right now.
3. They're assholes.
