It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it is mainly concerned with Education, although Healthcare and Social Equality are on the agenda. A powerhouse of a private sector is dominated by the Information Technology industry.

Torture is illegal, all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, scenic mountain valleys are flooded with water as damming projects get underway, and the government pours millions of sovereigns into rehabilitation programs annually. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to the all-pervasive police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Quintessence of Dust's national animal is the hawk, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the sovereign.
