Region: Empire of Andrew

The carriage appears only in the fall and winter. It formerly belonged to a very wealthy man, a young man, murdered one cold winter's night by a friend. His possessions and wealth were taken by uncaring relatives or the Government. The old horse-drawn carriage trundles along the icy, tree-lined path to the ruins of his ancient, now decrepit stone house. As it pulls up to the gate, there is a jingling of coins, as though a person is stepping out of the carriage, followed by footsteps in the snow, the sound of a gunshot, and the coins spilling on the snow. Anyone trying to retrieve the coins is assailed by a flock of Ravens, pecking and scratching at the faces of the would-be robbers, before snatching up the coins and fluttering off inside the carriage or the moonlit trees. People have learned to leave the apparition to his only friends; The Ravens. The Ravens vanish every morning at dawn, seemingly disappearing before the eyes of onlookers, in winks of black and red light.
