Region: Conservative Paradise

Yes, well, approximately 2/3 of the nations here are actually puppets of mine: Some have been resident since the region's glory days (when it peaked briefly at just over 100 nations in all*, most of them with individual players), the others moved in since then simply because I didn't have any other plans for them.
And as there is obviously a limit on how many nations I can actually use effectively during events like that, and as I couldn't get online until the plague was well underway and much damage already done, and as I honestly didn't expect much activity by anybody else here even for that event, I concentrated my efforts on my puppets in certain other regions where the chance of success looked higher instead.
However if people here are serious about trying to "save" the region from the zombies then this time around I'll try to play a part in that (although there will still be a limit on when I can get here...) and will probably move most of the puppets temporarily into a 'storage' region beforehand so that their inactivity doesn't provide a "breeding-ground" for zombies here. Okay?

As for researching the cure, I've been told that a nation's chance of managing this is related to its level of spending on healthcare... which means that my nations, at least, aren't very likely to succeed. However there would still be the 'cure missiles', and hopefully enough of us would have those available to do the job even without developing an outright cure...

(* That was the best total since I joined the region in August '05: whether it was ever larger before that, i couldn't say...)
