The region is called Gay and the description says it's open to everyone, even if they don't identity. It doesn't make any claims to represent or be inclusive of all queer identitites. This is simply a gay friendly region, take it or leave it. If they want something more specifically inclusive, I think they should get off their self righteous butt and go and make it. To be honest attacking the rep for an online gay region in a role playing game for not using their personally preferred mega-acronym just makes it sound like they were douchebag looking for a fight.
