Ok, since someone asked for it, this would be a fine opportunity for us to explain why you should join the World Assembly!

There are many advantages to World Assembly membership. If you indulge us and let us wax philosophical for a bit, we will give you the "Why join the World Assembly?" speech.

First off, the gist of this entire game is words. Generally you "give" words by posting and sending telegrams; you "get" words in return. If you don't say anything to anyone then often no one will say anything to you. Everybody's style is different. Many are content to sit back and watch, many like to speak up and make their opinions known or comment on things in the game, their lives or whatever.

So, in this game, all you and your nation really have to "give" are words. There are no prizes for anything at all, just general enjoyment of interaction. What many national leaders have found out is that there are several benefits to participation in the World Assembly. Once a nation joins the WA, they "get" something, actually a couple of things. First off, they get the ability to endorse other nations. This is something one nation can actually "give" another nation. This can be used to show approval of whatever, their flag, their form of government, their motto, their name, or anything. Some endorse recklessly, some endorse sparingly; it is your choice. Another thing you "get" from WA membership is you "get" to vote on WA Resolutions and to make your voice known to the rest of the world. This is a noble thing, shaping the course of the world. And lastly, you "get" the ability to assist in increasing Texas security from invaders and others that would disrupt all that is Texas. These are some things you can "do" with endorsements.

These are only some observations we have made about this game after playing it for over 11 years. It may be true, it may not.
