People laugh about "the vast right-wing conspiracy," which admittedly does not exist, but if you were a Clinton and had not only the visible right-wing spewing anything and everything in the off-hand chance it would stick, but also lazy mainstream journalists who would uncritically circulate the RW's stories as 'news,' it probably did seem like a vast RW conspiracy.

I think it's obvious that Clinton is a flawed candidate, but her demonstrated flaws are well within the historic patterns of past presidents; like Gracie, I give no credence to the unsubstantiated poo that RW pundits use to rail against Clinton which are just assertions and not grounded in any sort of way in objective reality. Just because you don't like someone or their politics does not give you permission to make up anything and everything against them. Personally, I don't care much at all for Trump, but I don't feel empowered to make up conspiracy theories about him. (For one thing, there are too many real, documented allegations to cover them all in a single sitting.)
