I actually really like the new ones (well, the 2009 one too) - they're wild, over the top, and the guns feel like guns. New Order really captures what made 3D fun as well, which is why I'm playing it again.
I finished 3D (all 6 chapters) last week, so I've progressed on a bit. I'm on the verge of finishing New Order today (new record for me) and then Old Blood hopefully tomorrow.
