WeeHa! It is Saturday breakfast time again! Since Spring has come and gone and the first freeze is threatening, it is time to harvest so, today will be Edible Flowers Breakfast! This once-in-a-lifetime breakfast service will include edible flowers in every dish. The tents will be festooned with a splash of color from flowers from all over NewTexas. All patrons availing themselves of this special event will be started off with complimentary Elderberry Flower Croissants served with Orange Blossom Honey Butter! Man, these suckers are fragrant and yummy too. We will be serving a variety of omelets, all made with the freshest, Grade A, farm-fresh, organic eggs. First up will be s super-cheesy Chive Blossom Omelet oozing with melting Swiss cheese and a plenty of tangy Chive Blossoms. We have a delicately perfumed French Lavender Omelet gently sautéed in hand-churned, sweet butter made on site. And if you want to go gonzo, we have the Super Green Omelet with Basil Flowers, Thyme Flowers and Dill Flowers and mushrooms to bring a little earthiness to all the aromatics. All of these are really good! We will be serving up Rosemary Flower Honey Walnut biscuits and Apple Lavender Muffins. We will have a wide varieties of flavored butters to choose from - Orange Blossom Honey Butter, Lavender Honey Butter and Sweet Lemon Butter. If you need a little more substance, with have Lemon Apple Blossom Pancakes with Blueberry Compote. There are Honeysuckle Pancakes that are just a touch sweet too. Meat options are limited today, but we stayed up all night grinding Sage Blossom Sausage and Rosemary Flower Sausage. These fry up well and are quite tasty. There will be an expansive Floral Tea Bar today with all teas made and garnished with edible flowers. All the base teas - White, Yellow, Green, Black and Oolong - will be available to create your ultimate tea experience. All servers have been educated in the subtle nuances of tea and will be able to make your cup a most memorable one. We have fragrant Jasmine Flower, gentle Rose Flower and exotic Lotus Blossom. Hibiscus Tea is always nice as is Violet Tea. For something a little more familiar to Texans, we have Marigold Tea or Texas Dandelion Sweet Tea. The Juice Bar is still closed, but we will be stirring up Tang on request. Of course, the "Texas Regular" Never Ending Urn of Coffee is full and ready to help you wash those day old donuts down. Texas coffee doesn't get much better. Come on down and start your day right Texas. You know you want to!®

For the forum, head on over: http://invisionfree.com/forums/Texas/index.php?showforum=144 There is also a link at the top of the front page. Alas, you have to be registered to Chat.

Today we will try and lure you to chat by having a Texas Road Trip! Each week we will throw out some Texas Cities for discussion. Topics can include fun facts, cuisine, sports, geography, whatever. These are just starter topics. Sometimes they are the whole chat, sometimes they do not come up at all. As with all chats, pretty much anything goes.

Today's Topics, brought to you by the Letter R, may include :

Reese Center - This Smallest "R" City has only 42 Texans. Guess where it is - nope, not The Valley - it is in the Panhandle, right outside Lubbock, next door to Texas Tech. Is this where Reese's Pieces come from? Not likely, but Air Force people know what Reese Center is about. Come to Chat and you can know too!
Radar Base - What is up about this tiny town that is home to the Maverick County Airport near the Rio Grande? Are we spying on Mexico? Come to Chat to find out!
Reno - Thought it was in Nevada? Wrong-o Reindeer! Not only is it in Texas, it is in Texas twice! Yeppers, the is a Reno, TX in Parker County AND a Reno, TX in Lamar County! Just how on earth does Texas have two Renos 165 miles apart??? Come to chat to see how the Post Office keep them separate!
Round Rock - So, is there really a round rock in this second largest "R" city in Texas? You betcha! Texans liked this round rock in the middle of a creek so much they named the settlement after it in 1854. Is there anything else going for Round Rock aside from being the headquarters of Dell? You will just have to come to Chat to find out!
Richardson - The Largest "R" City in Texas and Texas' 32nd Largest and the US' 276th Largest! What's to know about this affluent suburb in DFW and known as the heart of the Telecom Corridor? Well, magazines rank it pretty high on best places to live lists often. Settlers from Kentucky and Tennessee founded it in the 1840s. It was "dry" until 2006. Arlen, of King of the Hill fame, was modeled after Richardson. There are Telecom businesses out the gazoodie. Jeff Dunham lives there. Anything else? More than probably! Come to Chat to find out!

Additionally, there are 80 more "R" List cities in Texas and any are up for discussion.
