Oh Boy! It is Saturday breakfast time again! Today will be Whipped Cream Wonderland Breakfast Saturday! This oddly-themed breakfast will start with the ultimate in whipped cream conveyance vehicles - the Belgian Waffle! These sweet, over-sized, yeasty, yumm-yumms have the deepest pockets of all waffles which make them totally excellent for holding whipped cream. Only fruit can make these warm, crispy gems any more sumptuous. We have apples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, strawberries and bananas. All come in raw or cooked versions. For the strawberry lover in you, we will have fresh Poteet Strawberries stacked up parfait-style with mint whipped cream. We will whip up a new item today - pumpkin pancakes - a sweet and savory buttermilk pancake made with brown sugar and nutmeg topped off with a sweet cinnamon whipped cream. Woo! And for the adventurous, we have chocolate and banana-filled crepes topped with creamy whipped cream and a sprinkling of chopped hazelnuts. As a special today, we will also be serving Floating Islands. While not technically whipped cream, these meringues look like whipped cream and we float them in a sea of crème anglaise (a creamy sauce like melted vanilla ice cream). We add a couple of whipped cream islands to be true to the theme. Woo, sweet stuff! The perfect accompaniment for any of these fine treats is fresh homemade hot chocolate piled-high with a spiral of whipped cream that would put many Turkish minarets to shame. Or, any of our fine coffees can be topped with a small tower of whipped cream as well. We even have special off-season offerings of Boiled Custard and Egg Nog, most perfect beverages for topping with whipped cream. No juice today. You can't put whipped cream on juice silly! Start your day off the right way, munch out and go back to sleep. Of course, The Never Ending Urn of Coffee is full and ready to help you wash it all down. Texas coffee doesn't get much better. Enjoy Texas! You know you want to!®

Today we will try and lure you to chat by having a Texas Road Trip! Each week we will throw out some Texas Cities for discussion. Topics can include fun facts, cuisine, sports, geography, whatever. These are just starter topics. Sometimes they are the whole chat, sometimes they do not come up at all. As with all chats, pretty much anything goes.

Today's Topics, brought to you by the Letter P, may include :

Pharr - This fourth largest "P" town (snicker, snicker) is down in The Valley next to McAllen and was named after a sugar plantation owner. This is one of Texas' many Onomatopoeia Towns. It is pretty far down there. This 2006 "All America City" award winner is just minutes away from Reynosa Mexico. Segregation in education was a big issue in Pharr from as early as 1925 through 1971 when there was the "Pharr Police Riot". What was it? Come to Chat to find out!
Petronila - This Smallest "P" City has only 83 Texans. Guess where it is - yep, The Valley! It is 20 miles west of Corpus Christi. Care to guess what is there? Come to Chat to hear the real deal!
Paris - Thought it was in France? Wrong-o Reindeer! It is in Northeast Texas a comes complete with a 65 foot Eiffel Tower (its second)! Woot! Forget France, we're going to Texas! Come to chat to find out more about the "Second Largest Paris in the World"!
Poteet - What is to know about this sleepy little burg 20 miles south of San Antonio? Strawberries, lots and lots and lots of strawberries! Oh yeah, George Strait was born there. Anything else to know? You will have to come to Chat to find out!
Plano - The Largest "P" City in Texas and Texas' 9th Largest and the US' 70th Largest! What's to know about another of Texas' Onomatopoeia Towns? Well, it is far from plain since there are almost a quarter million Texans there. Did you know it was the Gymnastic Capital of the World? ORLY? It is very corporation-friendly with dozens and dozens of corporate headquarters located there. It is a city of many wealthy Texans, possibly the most of any Texas town. Like Longview, Plano has an annual Balloon Festival complete with bands, fireworks, skydivers and, well, hot air balloons. Did you know Plano means "flat" in Spanish? Come to Chat to find out more!

Additionally, there are 83 more "P" List cities in Texas and any are up for discussion.
