Ok, we have the first in a suite of Human Rights Health Care legislation all written by not only a Texan, but our Secretary of WA Affairs, no less, using her WA nation located in another region [Cielos Negros]. All we can say is the same thing we told her when we first saw it - Wow! This really is a major candidate for TL;DR especially given the subject matter which not only covers a lot of medical mumbo jumbo, but copious amounts of legalese gobbledygook. Oh yeah, light reading to be sure. But, our most learned peep (Cousin Cletus, Ph.D, J.D., MO.RON) has assured us that it is in the best interest of everybody to pass this for all our collective health and well-being. This is a replacement to Studly Penguins Stem Cells Resolution that was shot down on last vote and directly addresses most of the issues peeps had with it. NewTexas will go on record as FOR on this Resolution. This is only the opinion of NewTexas. We look forward to other Texans' opinions and comments on this Resolution. If good arguments to the contrary are made, we will reconsider our position.

The Texas response rate was flat on the last GA vote [Repeal "Stem Cells For Greater Health"], which was passed after gaining 84.64% of the vote. As a reminder, all we are looking for is a simple 10% of Texans to say one way or another. We are a force for change in the WA. Every vote counts! There were 8 publicly-expressed opinions on the last Resolution with the final Texas tally running 7 FOR and 1 AGAINST and 0 ABSTAIN and 0 UNDECIDED. Texans were almost unanimous.

NewTexas is open to suggestions on how we should vote on this Resolution to most accurately reflect opinion of the populace. All comments are welcome from all nations, both WA Members as well as those who are not. *As always, the WA Delegate vote will be based on publicly-expressed popular opinion.*

Please make your voice heard on the current issue either on this message board or on our offsite message board. But, by all means, please vote on the WA Page!

If you would like to take part in shaping the world you live in, please vote. Voting is a right and a privilege, please consider using it.

All WA Member nations please vote. Please make your opinions known by 11:00pm Tuesday as voting ends at 11:00am Texas Time on Wednesday the 19th. Current voting in The World is running - Votes FOR: 2342 Votes AGAINST: 72

Big Tex

PS: Remember, be sure to vote at the World Assembly too!
