Due to the massive influx of refugees from war torn Syria, a unified, regional plan must be put in place to handle the large numbers. Because of this, every Occitan nation will be required to accept a ratio of refugees equal to that of their population ratio to regional ratio. These refugees will be granted visas, specific types will be up to individual nations. However, refugees will not be denied work based solely on their refugee status. Each individual nation will also be responsible for setting up adequate housing for these refugees. Adequate housing must include a shelter to block out the elements and easy access to clean sources of water. If a nation believes that they cannot handle their designated share of the refugees, they may discuss with other nations a way to transfer part of that share between nations. The specifics of those deals will be left to the nations involved. If necessary, the Occitan Guard can be called upon to help local constabulary forces manage the refugees.
