Just because the US didn't kill as many Indians, or start the slave trades doesn't excuse the fact that the US still participated in these heinous crimes.

Your facts are on par, but you seem rather biased. This makes it difficult to hold a rational debate with you.

I may be a little biased(and so are you against capitazist U$A) but that's only because everyone singles out the US when it comes to bad stuff(not just here but everywhere). Not a single week goes by here without some sort of American bashing. If I picked out a nation thats not the US and every other comment insulted that nation and people everyone here would flip out, calling me an ignorant racist murican. But since it's anti US, it's okay. "Hurr durr Trumpland Amerikkka is a backward corrupt police state wasteland" is basically the sentiment around here. And that irks me.

Well, good to know i'm not the only one on that end.

War is war, bad things happens. Also Japan is insanely xenophobic, so it doesn't surprise me; it would be like going to Detroit and getting mugged by a gangster, suddenly every urban hoodlum is out of mug you.

Pearl Harbor isn't the worst disaster in that war, hell it's not even the worst thing Japandidandmykeyboardisdead

And you know, it makes me upset too. Plenty of great things have come from America. I believe a fair reason for this is because America happens to be like the go to country when you hear about it. We're everywhere. That openness we have comes with setbacks. We're the 'celebrity nation.'

But you know, the woman I mentioned that Shinzō Abe was upset about was only twenty years old when she was killed.

Yes, they did play victim. They were certainly the aggressors, there's no doubt and we're on the same page there. Where I disagree with you though is changing the subject from the focus on Shinzō Abe's remarks to Obama (because we certainly need to deliver Justice to those who commit crimes.) on ending the sexual assault (and then sometimes accompanying murder) crimes committed by US soldiers and contractors against Japanese women some of whom are underage. It makes no sense to me why you bring up these events (assuming you're talking about the annexation of Korea and parts of China (and Nanjing)), which took place 50 years before the birth of the innocent Japanese woman who was murdered by US Soldiers and contractors. Should we not expect our soldiers to be examples? Or do we stoop down to the levels of the previous enemies during an era where imperialism and colonialism ran rampant?

You act as if Japanese women are getting raped and murdered by most of the troops when in reality I could probably count the amount of occasions it has happened with my fingers. So yes are troops are being good examples and a few scum bags isn't going to change the overall big picture.

It's created a big enough problem in Okinawa that they want us OUT. In order to prove to them that we're there to help them, we MUST do more to ensure Justice is met for those who have already committed the crimes and work on STOPPING them from happening again.

War crimes are one thing , every nation has indulged in it - USA and Japan included. The crimes are that being committed on Japanese soil are happening during peacetime and that's the main point of contention. You don't go around doing acts that create a bad impression about you in a nation that's hosting you. Naturally, it reeks of hubris and bringing up crimes which happened during wartime is a poor excuse imo. Obviously, you will get a backlash and saying "But X country raped over 9000 during that war, singling us out is not fair...." doesn't even make sense since those were committed in a more savage era in a savage war , one would expect them to have evolved beyond that. This isn't even the first time such an incident has happened in Japan courtesy certain decadent members of the US military - an organization which prides itself of being of the highest moral caliber.

Well, let's go back to 1995 when a young 12 year old Japanese Schoolgirl was kidnapped .. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1995_Okinawa_rape_incident

While your statement "a little butt hurt over us curb stomping them at said battle of Okinawa" is certainly true among certain groups in the region. It however doesn't reflect the full attitude or reasoning of everyone there. I feel a majority of the people on Okinawa are rightfully upset about the death of such a young girl. And how brutal it was that she was killed. Given that, those few groups of individuals against us being there for being "butt hurt" remind of those who support the Confederate flag for the reason of being pro-slavery while other supporters of the Confederate flag support it as being a cultural icon rather than a symbol of slavery.

The situation there is certainly confusingly complex, especially the differences between the various groups, those who feel "butt hurt" as others simply don't want another rape while I'm sure people there deeply respect America for saving them from the leadership of Tojo and returned Japan to a land of peace and militaristic tranquility rather than a barbaric imperialist country.

I fail to see how this has anything to do with the Okinawa situation. All you said is that there are good decent non racist neo-Confederates and while it has nothing to do with Japan I must congratulate you for having such radical views.

Yo S.T. want to go and get some comfort foods for Vrolondia over the death of their poor keyboard? We can sit back and relax as the world burns over a debate that has now degraded to low blows and soon may house attempts over simplify a complex situation.

Because of this being a triple post, I will be ending all posts by me for an hour and a half; thus forcing my withdrawal from the argument for sometime.

I never played WarThunder but this isn't the first time I've seen a promising game get screwed over by the people who own it, and no doubt it won't be the last. Sheesh, it's like game companies have been losing their minds nowadays, what with the crap EA gets away with, Wild Games Studio, and all the overdosed dlc available for purchase. Good god.

The CEO of the company that owns Fractured Space seems like a good guy. He even issued an apology, that did not have any excuses, about an update that upset a bunch of players.

As a person who has played War Thunder for three years and has spent well over $300 on the game, I am HIGHLY disappointed with what Gaijin is doing. This however won't make me stop playing their game, yet, I am upset with their leadership of it and expected much better from them.

The CEO of the company that made Fractured Space has some of my deepest respects for what he did. I never expected someone to say that publicly, but he proved me wrong, and I am glad someone finally did from this industry.

Yikes, and to think I was beginning to enter War Thunder myself! Good time to bail out permanently, or wait and see?

Warthunder had a much better model 2-3 years back when it launched. It wasn't so much a grind fest as it is now. I quit for sometime and came back to see if it had improved a bit, but nope...still decadent. I recommend you invest your time into Planetside 2 instead. Do not become a whale like Abenwald.

P.S : "Whale" is used to refer to the people who spend lots of money on F2P games. They're the ones who keep it profitable.
