Have you seen? There's a fried chicken flavoured nail polish available. Who licks their nail polish?

Isn't nail polish poisonous?

That is exactly what I was thinking. There's no way you should actually eat it, and no reason for a company to make it 'taste good.' That alone is terrifying.

54,000 people have been displaced by this fire, to compare the great fire of 1666 in London affected around 80,000.

This will hopefully be the only lose of life from this event.

Good god.. I knew it was bad but was not expecting that bad! Is Canada having a drought crisis or something? Never hear about fires in Canada.. most just Florida and California where they are a normal part of the ecosystem.

Fort McMurray is a town in northern Alberta surrounded by the oil sands and oil pipes. There isn't usually a fire problem, there have been a few close calls but they are usually held back by the fire brigade. But can you think about trying to leave the town in the middle of an oil field that's having a fire storm?!

Clearly a month for forest fires. In India, we had one that started on February 2nd and only got doused recently (just days before McMurray) - worst part is there was a drought in the region , so locals didn't even have water to douse the fires out.

Worst part #2? It happened very close to the Himalayas and could've affected the glaciers , causing them to melt faster. Expect unexpected avalanches in the near future with a healthy dose of casualties.

Eep! glad we don't have avalanches..
