Actually, it's a bit different from that; in the US, the President tends to appoint people to his cabinet who have ideologies agreeing with his and fire those who don't, so it's more like that. However, the difference between the US in that instance and me in this one is the lack of warning or awareness that political ideologies were an actual excuse he would use for picking his State Council (which is like the US Cabinet). Lazarus doesn't have a tradition of partisanship, and no Chairman has ever before removed someone from their SC due to their ideology. When he did this, he did so with no warning or precedent.

WZEU's been like that for awhile. We've been under native control since early February, with a few brief scattered foreign occupations. We've inspired some independence movements in the other Warzones as well, which have come and gone. So I would say February.

There wouldn't really be much public outrage, except from the Warzones, really. However, the reason why warzones are no longer actual Warzones isn't because of the policies of the regions and warzones which have made them difficult to raid; it's because nobody feels like raiding them. It's sort of a self-defeating kind of thing: Raiders value chaos above all else, and attacking a region designed for raiding isn't really creating chaos.
Yay!
LE GASP! Campbell, how could you! You forgot who came up with the original inspiration for the whole concept of making Warzones into active regions with strong communities, over a year and three months ago! How could you?

Oh right, codger; he definitely deserves mention. Warzone Codger provided inspiration for our revolution by being the first to hold a Warzone for a year, and to establish a Warzone community as an independent entity. Codger set the precedent from which all else in our revolution would follow, and established the tone amongst other regions towards native Warzone communities, being the first to assert such communities as being essentially equal. In our People's Republic of Warzone Asia, he is the Karl Marx of modern Warzone thought.
Sort of my thoughts in a nutshell. However, I would not be surprised that, with the deepening wealth gaps and seeming unstoppable hard-right factions in congress and the like, there is some violence when the proletariat begins to assert their rights. But I'm certainly not holding my breath on that one.

Um... Asia. I came up with the idea after hearing about pan-warzonism for a while, and I talked to Campbell about it to get him to invite all of you. I've noticed that multiple people enjoy claiming that they founded or played a critical role in pan-warzonism, though, so begin their claims that they were the "true" inventors of the UWR. :P
^The rest of that is still kewl, though. So thank you.

Nah, wzeu came up with pan wz. It started with us making a council of leaders, though the goverment aspect and the uwr is asias idea completly, but it was based on ours and i believe frederick even made a constitution, though we didn't use it. But you guys took the idea and ran (:
