I'd sure like to be able to do more things, I LOVE games where there is action to keep occupied for at least a couple of hours, which is clearly not the case with NationStates. I do like what the game offers, I would just like to have a great deal more of it available.

If they had a never ending issue system there would be too many people abusing it to mold their nation into the best in the world at something.

I get the point Marxist Militia, but one issue every six hours means that you can easily address 3-4 issues at one go, taking just 5-10 minutes, and then there is absolutely nothing to do for the rest of the day. Not at all conducive to active players.

Woah, I just made a single decision on one small issue and my economic freedom went up 300% from -35 to 80. How do I get it back down?

Focus less on letting corporations do whatever they want, and focus more on restricting them.

There's more then just issues there's raiding, voting, doing that one game where you battle other nations on different things, and most of all there's COMMUNITY ;)

No way to do it I am afraid, had the same problem when the state of my economy plummeted once I rejected welfare and "jobs programs" for bums. You have to wait for other issues and hope you can change it as you wish over time.

There are issue guides

Thanks, but to start with one of the points you make, how do you battle other nations? I sure like the sound of it and would like to do it a lot if I knew how to get started.

Whenever you look at a nation there's this button on the far-right side that looks kinda like a target, well press that and then challenge them

Thank you very much, fighting proved to be quite interesting indeed. If I may ask one more question Marxist militia, how do I get started with raiding?

I'm not exactly an expert on raiding, so you might want to ask someone a little more knowledgable.

Thanks to Marxist Militia. Can somebody tell me how to raid other nations? I want to be an active player but as I have said in my above posts I have a terrible time finding things to do in this game, so except for challenging other nations once I am done with my issues, which only takes a couple of minutes, I can only way endless hours for the next issue to come.

I had an instance of the "law of unintended consequences" mentioned by Incredisomnia. I just refused to host the Olympics to avoid the huge expense and taxes involved and the state of my economy fell from "good" to "reasonable." Given the economic trouble host nations face from the Olympics (which is why it has become so hard to find countries and cities willing to host), I'd have thought my economy would have been upgraded, yet this is what happened.

I have space battleship's now, who wants to war rp?

Thearmy wrote:I have space battleship's now, who wants to war rp?

Though I have gone nuclear I must be some time away from developing space battleships. I'd just LOVE to go to war against rp, the question is whether I have the requisite weapons.

One more question regarding the upcoming zombie wars? How do we develop extermination squads, cure missiles, or hordes to "embrace the undead"? I'd just LOVE to fight this war, but in the latest news I saw no instructions on how to wage this war.

I imagine the zombie stuff will become more apparent as time moves closer. I believe I was entombed during the last one. As far as raiding, you'd be looking for me to talk to. If you have Skype or Discord, telegram me your name and I'll add ya for a bit more info on it.

Thanks Bloodwinged Angel, unfortunately though I have no Skype, Discord, or any instant messenger, as I haven't had anybody to talk to online for many years.

This game'll change that for ya. Trust me. First year alone I went from 2 contacts on an old MSN to roughly 100+. Admittedly, that was also when I was more involved with interregional politics.
