Not a bit! I'm computer illiterate! (And to think I was invited to join the National Honor Society while in school.)
Hi, everyone. A long-time fan here (with a new nation). Is there a way that I can join you on your travels? What are your rules regarding that (if any)?
I am self-taught on computers.
Before 2003, I did not know how to operate a computer, much less build one, lol.
Now I can do my own builds and installs.
Graphics are the same, before this game, nothing, afterwards, am fairly decent at the bbcoding/graphics.
Nice!
Curious:
What OS do you/y'all use?
I use Linux (Mint 18).
We all have our dirty little secrets ....
*steps slowly away*
I, for one, do not miss having to defrag or scan for nasties everyday...
Re: new factbook, as we profess not to recruit I wonder if Join us on our wanderings is a bit much we don't usually invite but but deal with requests if they happen, also is the baloonist link regions the balloonist have visited or the group have visited? if group possibly a different link title?
Those are good suggestions and I made some preliminary tweaks. Rex did a wonderful job. He's an invited guest in our region and has consented to do us this service. We are still working out the WFE and he is very accommodating.
The balloonist lists regions we have visited in the forum. The link would be only as good as he is still active. It may be redundant to have it in the WFE. Any further discourse concerning that link or anything else would be appreciated.
I think the list of regions is good and hats off to ballonists for maintaining it, I wondered if just the link title in the factbook could be changed to say regions we have visited so that it it includes the whole group I understand it will still lead to baloonists page.
It can, but I leave that for Geese to make the decision....
:D
I can most certainly change it for y'all.
The suggestion from Orehaj sounds good; the balloonist apparently likes it. So go ahead, Rex, change it. I'm still a bit timid and I don't want to screw it up.
Also, I have the answer as to what a bunch of geese is called. I thought that "flock" was incorrect, but it can be used. Here's the answer from National Geographic:
"A flock of geese is a generic term that describes a group of geese that is in any physical location. A gaggle of geese describes a flock of geese that is located on the ground or in any body of water. A skein of geese describes a flock of geese as they fly through the air."
Done!
Another satisfied client!
:D
Thanks now it's clear what the link leads to and when you arrive credits Balloonists for compiling the list.
I sent a telegram to Santa asking him where he's going for Christmas this year, since The North Pole is closed. I think last year we stopped at North Pole, but that region is dead. We may need to find a new joint to celebrate Christmas, which isn't easy, because so many nations wish to have me for dinner. Literally.
Ho Ho Ho!
Sorry for my absence, I've been busy preparing for Christmas, getting all the presents together and what not, it's quite a task.
Honk, honk, honk, Santa!
It's no good going to Christmas it has no founder and the raiders mostly take it over the Christmas period.
Good grief! Will it help it we're there? I know there's been some talk about raiding that area. Where oh where shall we spend Christmas???
