It's honestly a lot easier for me to make an okay-looking flag than a horrible eyesore. But then again, you're just using Yap, so I wouldn't expect you to know.
Why didn't you make an OK-looking flag, then? You yourself described your current flag as horrible.
It is better to use a default flag and to have people assume that you are bad at making flags than it is to make a flag and to remove all doubt.
