I'd be interested in RPing with y'all ... in a few days, once I'm done moving. Right now I'm surrounded on all sides by boxes, and more need filling.

Urania-plutonia

Oh, hey, I remember actively RPing. I did that with you guys back during the age of steam engines, if I remember correctly.

Happy birthday, Ayz!

Ayzifa

Well, I've now officially moved house ... but I'm not sure if it counts as being moved in when more than 90% of my stuff is still in boxes.

Scandinavian Liberal Paradise? When the hell was this a thing?

It's like a Civil Rights Lovefest except with significantly more woolly boots.

That just sounds unsanitary.

Whoa whoa whoa, when did I become an authoritarian democracy?

Urania-plutonia

Two days and eight hours ago, apparently...

Just got back from seeing Mad Max: Fury Road. It's two hours of nonstop awesome. Charlize Theron is badass as Furiosa and also Tom Hardy helps her out a bit.

Did she successfully BLOW UP THE PATRIARCHY? I heard that happens.

Did she check their privilege? They have a privilege-check at the front door, usually.

Haha, I've heard that the MRA types are upset with it. I suspect it's because they identify with the villain who keeps nubile young women as sex slaves, and resent the fact that he gets killed. Personally I think if you find yourself resembling the villain it's time to reconsider your life choices. "Women are not property" should not be a statement which causes controversy.

And if you disagree, Furiosa gonna stabs you. In the FAAAAAACE.

Okay, I should probably see this. Thunder-dome made me sad. maybe this'll make up for it.

I'm sorry I can't hear you down there at the bottom of my GIANT MOUNTAIN OF METH

Hey, just throwing this out there, but I was wondering if there's a good area in making an issue on serious drought. I'm pretty sure there already is one, but I wonder what it would be like if the stakes were somehow Much Higher, because all the options seem to revolve around there actually being a solution to it, and I was thinking it might be interesting if there wasn't one

Well that's gonna suck out loud.

Look out! We've entered the End Times! Again. This makes what, the 30th time since the early 1900s?

God can surrender to us any time he likes - after which it's off to The Hague for trial for crimes against humanity. I will judge him fairly but we all know that the punishment for the development and use of bio weapons is death.
