So do you want to be someone your father thinks you should be or what you want to be?
My father was smart enough to let me do my own thing and supported that to the best of his ability.

What do you do? My dad would ideally like to see me do something in the scientific field. I'd love to be a veterinarian. I love animals. But my dad wants me to do something medical, like a nurse, PA, or doctor, work in a lab, or be a teacher. I wouldn't really mind being a teacher so much. Except when it comes to paying the bills, that could get difficult.

LoL!
No, not that at all. I just wanted the work experience/knowledge in those areas.

Being a driver allowed me to up my driving skills. I am a much safer driver now.(360,000+ miles of highway driving)
Repair & restoration allowed me to hone my artistic skills with an airbrush(touch-ups), customer service made a lot of contacts for me in the furniture biz. I can repair most furniture and am familiar with a lot of types of finishes.
Warehouse work got me certified on several styles of forklift.
Electronics is my hobby(since I was 16), so I made money from it.

This time I visit after being removed from my home region!

Oh.. my homeland is in the process of electing a new delegate.. (we lack candidates).

Maybe I'll grab a few of you and force you to run for delegate of Iwaku!

Attention All Warriors, Soldiers, Tacticians, Adventurers, And Politicians:

Have you ever felt that there is more to nationstates than legislative squabbling and political debate?

Have you ever wanted more than a mundane existence of answering issues and debating on the RMB?

Have you ever felt bored waiting for gameplay opportunities that are few and far between?

If so, the Commonwealth of Free Nations Foreign Legion is the place for you. As a Legionnaire, you would be called upon to serve alongside a group of elite fighters both from the CFN and around “The World”, that is neither raider nor defender, but a force that seeks to free the oppressed, punish the immoral, and above all else, have fun with R/D gameplay. We are not ideologically motivated, and accept soldiers from any side of the political spectrum. Legionnaires can continue to reside in their region of origin, or move to the CFN if they wish, but CFN citizenship is not required to join. The Legion will, when needed, be assembled and offered participation in a variety of military operations. For those who excel consistently, higher ranks, voting rights in the CFN, and invaluable experience are available.

Whether you seek something to pass the time, excitement to spark up your gameplay, or experience/advice to be used in your own personal gameplay endeavors, the Legion welcomes you with open arms.
