The beginning of the Mare Moramini
A strange aquatic vessel has been seen patrolling a section of the waters of Lerodas. Upon closer inspection it has been found to be unmanned and broadcasting a repeating message in morse code. The message is as follows.
"Attention governments of Lerodas, we are the Mare Moramini of the aquatic nation of Domi Sub Mari. We mean you no harm, our intentions are peaceful. We simply ask by orders of our queen that you leave our waters peacefully. If contact is wished to be made to our queen, a broadcast channel will be opened shortly. Until then we ask you please comply with our secular demand. This message repeats"

Colonisation of Sector 1417
The people that were leaving to go to the other continent were well on their way by now. They had left the port of Antheria that was still developing.
The ride there was uneventful with some people getting seasick and being confined to their cabins and some large storms that almost made us cancel the voyage. When we finally arrived we did a headcount and supply check. The supplies we brought were food, seed, water, and common building material to start and hopefully gather what we needed from there. The people we brought were Talravian security teams to help make sure nothing happened. Along with Karexis, Fal-Shendi, Gharvasha, Vor Khvech, and Tunalinvari district people to help with the settlement process. The Karexis, Gharvasha, and Tunalinvari districts set out at once to find a resource deposits and good places to set up farms. The large equipment was unloaded carefully along with the supplies that were put in quickly constructed shelters. After that we set up shelters to house everyone and while the Talravians set up a watch and started building a wall with some of their equipment.
When we first came in contact with the natives they actually had guns and a functioning military. We told them we came in peace but the still looked at us with fear. Members of the Fal-Shendi district were quick to start talking with theses people. They told us their former leader had left them and the war that had plagued the country. After we heard this we offered them citizenships into our country so they could have some semblance of peace back in their life. We told them they would have to be shipped back to the capital to be fitted with suits and they could either choose to be sent back here with us or stay their and create a new life in the capital or one of the other sectors.
The colony has become self-sufficient enough that ships bearing food and other supplies don't have to be brought in and they are actually starting to ship out raw materials and other goods back to the country. The capital of the new sector has been a topic of long debate between the people but we have finally come to a consensus. The new city will be named Loranth

Amidst the growing scandal, the Minister of Loyalty Dante Senpherno has been revealed to have accepted bribes from several criminal groups and smugglers to have their tracking chips deactivated. This is a gross and disgusting violation of our glorious security system, and completely negates its purpose. Facing pressure from the NPP government, Mr. Senpherno has resigned, disgraced.

The government has severed all benefits he could have been awarded and discontinued his income. An angry mob gathered outside of the Ministry of Loyalty, hurling bricks, stones, and other items at Senpherno as he was escorted off the premises.
In other news, Minister of Defense Rekard Stress finally returned home to the Central Provinces after several months keeping order in Zuidzarisen. With local tensions subsiding, and rebuilding efforts continuing, food shortages easing, and infrastructure growing, Zarisians are getting happier with their Mandiran overlords. Of course, unrest still boils in rural areas. He was greeted with open arms in Foundry of God, where his armor convoy stopped to a crowd of cheers. Mr. Stress has expressed his dismay at the bribery scandal, and has promised that he has been the most moral of Ministers.
The Ministry of Finance has announced it will be printing more money, as rebuilding efforts in Zaris are expensive and slow. A peaceful protest of various economics professors and advisors was arranged outside the Commonwealth Palace, asking the government to drastically cut funding on multiple social programs and getting inflation under control.

The Hassun family was on their way to a new beginning. Four hours ago, they had departed the bullet train, as the maglev rails didn’t yet travel into the new territory. They then boarded a train that had been a military shuttle a month ago, but was now being used to move the thousands of immigrants streaming into the new sector. Now, they departed this train, as it only went out as far as a military base that sat next to a small town. From their, they boarded a bus that took them deeper and deeper into the new territory. As they drove, they saw construction and new buildings all around them. What had been jungle just a few months ago was now beginning to whisper with the sounds of human life. The Hassuns rode the bus for a while longer before they reached their destination - the as-of-yet nameless future hub of the sector. They, along with five or six other families, departed the bus, and found the resident housing coordinator, who then pointed them to their new home, right on the edge of civilization.
So the map was updated but I still don't see myself on there. Did I do something wrong?
