Some are produced locally, some are imported. Remember that Tau technology allows for more advanced storage methods and high-nutrition rations. There's no shortage, if that's what you're asking, since the technology allows for even stasis-methods of preserving military heroes and such.

I hadn't thought about this until recently, but does anyone else get the feeling there may be another zombie apocalypse? Just wondering.

Thanks!

Yes to zombies, no to apocalypse.

We'll be ready.

That's a good question...

I recommended a world war for April Fools Day.

We'll be ready as well... Though not intentionally. It's just a happy coincidence that a few hundred Nord Amourians are submerged in deep sea submarines with stockpiled food and heavy weaponry.

Deap sea submarines? Watch out for the Seaponies.

That is even more frightening. Perhaps we'll just stay on the surface and protect the mainland from unregistered refugees.

Hobbiest republic

Send us your refugees. We have ways of separating the infected from the healthy. /nods/

Huh. Something tells me that this rating might be just a little bit inflated.

It's a 0 to 100 scale, if you couldn't tell. Pony Lands had 176 nations as of the time of this census, and the entire world had 114319.

The first 16 nations in Pony Lands, and the first 5506 nations in the world, are all technically tied at 100.

Pony Lands' median (50%) position is this, which still scores 80:
Santiarido is ranked 87th in Pony Lands and 37,404th in the world for Fastest-Growing Economies, scoring 80 on the Krugman-Greenspan Business Outlook Index.

To find a nation lower than 73, you have to dig down all the way down to this:
Flandremonde is ranked 104th in Pony Lands and 50,456th in the world for Fastest-Growing Economies, scoring 72 on the Krugman-Greenspan Business Outlook Index.

With our technology there is not as much of a need to invest heavily in natural resources. Therefore the lack of a mining industry; simply no reason to exploit and destroy our nature.

The pirate kingdom of alabasta

Well my question is, why wearn't people who score 99 on there?

Go home tree hugger!! *evil laugh*

Because you have the ability to just handwave resources in from 'elsewhere'.

Agreed.

Yup. Ever heard of Cadia? A hell-hole with no real resources except for troops and the occasional military technological product. Still not for sale.

Should mention that I'm Chinese of origin. What I have seen happening in Hong Kong is appaling to watch, but ultimately not surprising. Beijing still has APCs stationed in the north-west Xinjiang province due to the Uyghur minority there, and are afraid to lose control. The display of the authorities' attempt to quell the protests has been utterly immature and seem to fail to realise that Hong Kong has had a liberal democratic culture since WWII.

I am starting to wonder if staying with the Brits was such a bad idea; after all, no one held a referendum to ask the Cantonese like Denmark did in 1920; said referendum resulted in the separation of Schleswig-Holstein which we see today, and has led to a rather stable border. Well, until Hitler came along, but you can't have everything. With a saner chancellor then we would've had a more stable period back then, especially for Denmark since the Danes respected the referendums held. Beijing should grow up and bow to the demands of the people, not the old, conservative nutjobs who are demanding tighter control of Hong Kong.

Finally back to the right category! Let's see how long I can keep it this time. Curse you, inconsistent personal/political freedom issues!

I'm betting it won't last very long.

I also fixed my nation type.

Better than being an Inoffensive Centrist Democracy, the most boring of all NS classifications.

Magical equestria

We keep close track of our issues and trending to make sure we stay within the "Mother Knows Best State" category. There simply isn't a better description of Princess Celestia's rule than as "a mostly-benevolent dictator, who grants the populace the freedom to live their own lives but watches carefully for anyone to slip up."

Hey, my civil rights are only 1 point away from being a Left-Leaning College State like I'm supposed to.
