Philies home opener tomorrow against the Reds.

Those in South Philly, around the stadium, may be aware that they've got a brand new gigantic screen that will be debuting...because in the wee hours of the morning, the stadium has been "preparing" the screen by flashing all of its multi-colored lights in what can only be described as a psychedelic light show that lit up the night sky.

I-95 collapsed in the northeast Tacony neighborhood. A gas truck caught fire underneath the overpass, and the whole thing came down. This severs the primary north-south corridor that runs along the East Coast. And all that traffic detours right through that Philly 'hood...

Welp. It finally happened. Philly got a real snow. Actual shoveling out has occurred for the first time in nearly two years.

Got a free transit card in the mail from the City just the other day. Fully-loaded and good for a year. Now this is the kind of assistance I can get behind.
