If anyone here other than me has ever played D&D and met the Tarrasque, you know how this would feel...

You do realize that in my game I made this creature a lot harder than the actual Tarrasque, there was some "Lichy" Interferance... Muwahahaha, meaning it's decked out with a bunch of high quality gear, and it's been physically enhanced, it's regeneration powers are a lot more powerful too, and it takes a full wish to stop the REGENERATION, in my game, and that's still only temporary, you have to use a wish to kill it WHILE it's in a large amount of acid powerful (As in, Purple worm acid would do the trick, not much else) enough to counteract it's massive regeneration, then do an additional wish to be able to kill it. Then there's always the issue of this said Arch lich who holds a claw of the original tarrasque.... Nobody can find him, because whosoever does, never lives to tell the tale. I'll be kind enough to send you the stats of MY Tarrasque to torture your players with... hahaha

Hmm. Pray to a god, multiple gods, or that universes Overdeity to destroy anything related to the heavily modified Tarrasque. They're strong but not semi-omnipotent to omnipotent strong.

Is the Tarrasque killable in the Astral plane?

Just sent you the stats of MY Tarrasque hahaha

Drangur wrote:Is the Tarrasque killable in the Astral plane?

To my knowledge, the newer versions of D&D have the Tarrasque immortal within it's own dimensional plane. So taking it to another would render it killable. Don't know if the Astral plane applies however.

Almost anything is killable anywhere, but you still have to take the necessary actions to kill it wherever it is, and then there is also the issue of GETTING a Tarrasque to the astral plane before it eats you lol

In my game, gods don't usually heavily interfere unless there is other godly interference involved. If another Deity had done this to the Tarrasque, then your suggestion would be a very relevant, but as it is, no deity has meddled with the Tarrasque

Got it. Probably twentieth to eighteenth strongest monster that I've seen.

Different play styles then. I was always a fan of the Greek/Roman type gods that mess around with mortal affairs. So in my games they're probably more relevant in comparison to yours.

What edition do you play? I DM and play a combination of 1rst and a bit of 2nd, along with a bunch of my own twist on the game

and to let ya know, I play my monsters like hell lol, I play them to the max potential I can. unless it's a lower level group or inexperienced players. Gotta have mercy on the new players

Depends. I've everything from second to fourth. Haven't gotten around to fifth however. The most hideously overpowered monster that I've seen belongs to either the Hecatoncheires or a Dimensional Dragon. Things can wipe out a pantheon of gods.

I've just started playing 5th edition. I'm level 3 and I still haven't figured out my THAC0 yet! And somehow, people keep hitting me even though my AC is -8!
