Honestly the last 48 hours have been majestic as the complete lack of any conception of what comes next emerges. With the job of actually invoking Article 50 left to Cameron's successor (presumably BoJo, but a lot of people hate his guts), nearly every Leave promise already reneged upon, the actual consequences of Brexit increasingly coming to light and the failure of the Leave campaign to plan beyond the referendum itself, I think there's a very real - though by no means large - chance of the process stalling altogether and not happening. Obviously everything's very difficult to assess at this point and a big flaw in that train of thought is that the EU itself wants to cut its losses and be rid of us as soon as possible, but I definitely wouldn't rule it out just looking at how the dust seems to be settling.

Yeah I know, I think it's stupid that the UK lest the EU

So does at least 48% of the UK. I'd guess it's more than that now that we've had the vote and started to think about the consequences.

Thank god I still have 8.1 on my desktop, if I shut this computer down than it will BSOD and I have to reinstall Windows 10

Okay a few updates on my part
-Doctor thinks my dog had a stroke. Apparently he seems to be recovering, visiting now.
-Here in Aus the ASX seems to be stabilised suggesting Brexit didn't set off a plunge but rather a devaluing(best case scenario). I haven't looked at international markets yet. Although it's too early to be calling anything, I mean the UK is taking its sweet time starting negotiations, theirs a possibility of the Scottish parliament trying to block it and or having another go at leaving. Can't imagine UK backing out now but it is still too early to call anything(probably why the markets holding steady but idk)
-All them EU free trade agreements getting a second look. Here in Aus it's getting a second look considering half our EU trade was with UK(although I think someone was saying it'd go ahead regardless(although it does put Aus in a better negotiating position for the EU deal and a UK one if it ends up going forward(can think of a few which would have a greater priority) so yeah?). I know India was going to "modify' something(only read headline) so they're probably gonna take advantage of this new situation.
-Also UK and EU seem to be at odds over the common market, dad show'd me a smh(one of our better newspapers) article with a quote from EU president stating it'd be an all or nothing while I saw an ABC article with Boris stating they'd stay in the common market... Seem to be a bit at odds although the EU is in the superior negotiating position so they'd be more likely to get their way. Could've just been empty words thou, idk.
-Also dat political cynicism seems to be going strong in Aus. Although just going of anecdotal evidence so idk, could just be my area(what I've heard on the radio, from friends, etc).

I don't believe a word of what Boris says about this; his "plan" is all the benefits of EU membership, just without paying for any of it or obeying EU laws. By all realistic standards, that's BS - not only can we not expect special treatment like that, but with all the trouble we've already caused the EU they're going to want us at arm's length and doing any negotiations on their terms. Fair play to them, really. Sounds to me almost as though Boris was backing a cause he didn't really support for the sake of his own political advancement, and now doesn't want to face the actual consequences of backing said cause. By "Sounds to me almost as though..." I mean "Pretty much everyone guessed from the start that...".

With the Labour party's leadership trying to get rid of Jeremy Corbyn, who was elected as leader by an unprecedented majority of Labour supporters last year, I'm seriously considering joining the party to get him reelected if the vote of no confidence goes through. He's one of very few politicians in this country who seems sincere and consistent in his beliefs and is more interested in getting actual work done than taking cheap shots in parliament to make himself look good and his opponents look bad. That's something that really deserves to be valued in politics. The no confidence vote seems to me like a classic example of politicians working in their own political interests and entirely contrary to those of their supporters - Blair's "New Labour" vs. the people who actually vote Labour.
