They do. Why do you think most "assistants" (secretaries), nurses, maids, teachers, etc were woman? Only executive, management, and very heavy labor occupations are mostly men, otherwise they do hire women.
I've come up with a cool, straight forward (NS stat based) PMT RP for us with a cool back-story/setup and a unique and beautiful map.
