Just remember that sometimes you will be considered a black sheep in Islam, and some Muslims will even say you're a fake Muslim. The hadiths were compiled many MANY years after the death of the prophet Muhammad, and the Qur'an mentions "These are God's revelations that We recite to you truthfully. In which hadith other than God and His revelations do they believe?" (Qur'an 45:6)

Al-Baqarah Verse 257.

“Allaah is the Walee of those who believe. He brings them out from darkness into light. But as for those who disbelieve, their Auliyaa are Taaghoot, they bring them out from light into darkness. Those are the dwellers of the Fire, and they will abide therein forever.”
