Oh Cool!
The "Cheeky" banner is nice ... could use more though.
I dunno, for me the cheeky banner is naught but the back side of a pair of knees and about 6" of thigh. Nowhere near "cheeky". Perhaps my settings are in error.
Looks just this side of cheeky to me -- gotta use the imagination.
Are Terra Solitis and I the only ones who uploaded personal banners? I was looking around and was surprised at how few of the "older" nations took advantage of that feature.

I don't have any photos that match the 4:1 aspect, have been pondering trying to stitch something together. I'm sure there is someplace to get a tutorial on making a panorama.
You don't need a panorama. All you need is a photo that you like about 1/3 - 1/4 of. Then you simply crop it to the 4:1 ratio. Even if you aren't at that ratio, if you're close the system will crop it for you.
And Stephenson once again takes a powder.
`Ae. Looks like he's in one of his Muku phases -- or should I be saying his periodic make phases?
I am back. Traveling on holiday. Lots going on. How is everyone doing?
Where did you go? What did you like best? What's lots? I'm fine. :)
I mostly was in Seattle. I spent a lot of time in the surrounding area as well. I spent some time working on school things but I think that the thing I liked the most was spending time with my godson. I had not seen him since Christmas so it was nice to get to spend some time with the little guy.
I know that some of us have been playing this game for a bit. Is there any interest in perhaps trying to recruit some new members or are we good? I don't really think it matters - just noticed the numbers are a little low.
Recruiting is generally a good thing. It takes time and energy which I don't have much of right now.
A wet time of the year to visit -- well, it's always wet except for summer and the beginning of fall. Glad you had a good time and a nice visit with special people.
Seattle usually isn't as rainy as most people think it is. As a city, Seattle has a 'mist' setting that is on most of the time. I seem to bring the sun with me most times, but it did rain this last trip. I would generally agree with recruiting - although the region seems to be running quite well as it is. Do we really need to add new members? I dunno. Just a thought, perhaps an errant one at that.
Not to be nitpicky or anything but I lived there for 4 years and not only was it more rainy than Manoa, which is known as a damp place, but it snowed every year, as well. And yes, the constant drizzle does make for a beautiful, lush, green land as long as one is west of the Cascades.
I was just there in Seattle again this past weekend. I suppose what i mean to say is that it doesn't rain constantly and the snow is perhaps maybe an inch. I live in the Eastern part of the state where it actually snows (usually) more than an inch a year. It was actually pouring rain for a bit but it wasn't that bad. I guess I mean to say that it isn't pouring rain 24/7.
Yeah, tis in the middle of a dry spell up there. Of more concern is the lack of a winter snowpack for runoff in the warmer seasons. I hope it gets better, but the forecasts I'm seeing don't bode well soon.
New people would be fun to have around. Recruiting is just so time-consuming and RL obligations take at least my attention from recruitment.
Mahalo, Sarigan for the cure missiles during the infestation!
*waves @ States of Stephenson*
Stephenson, wherefore art thou?
What can I say? The teaching life is time-consuming. I did have a student qualify for the National History Day competition this past weekend. I didn't realize how much time has passed. I hope that everyone is doing well!
welcome back.
Ah crud. A few days after I made my own map of my own islands. Hnnn......
Well, I guess I'll think of something.
