Glad you like it. :) No, I didn't draw it. I merely selected the picture because I like the theme, and the night time atmosphere. Somehow it seems suitable. You know what, perhaps it unconsciously reminded me of the Flight into Egypt theme in art, which sometimes shows up on holiday cards.

On a previous occasion, I sent a card with a silly theme: drunken elves.

How are we all doing these difficult days?

The white tree

Renewed appreciation of all the dedicated people who work in the medical field and related jobs.

At least it's easier to stay socially distanced when Grond isn't knocking on your door.

If Grond is the hammer of the underworld, what is the sickle of the underworld?

I don't know. What would you say?

I could merely name two sickles, one in the sky and one on earth.
The constellation we call The Great Bear, Valacirca, The Sickle of the Valar, in the Silmarillion.
In the film version of FOTR, Farmer Maggot's sickle looming over the corn field when Frodo and Sam bump into Merry and Pippin.

idk what the sickle of the underworld is either :/

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
