Settled for some Civ 5 and rewatching Star Wars 7. Thought I'd give my liver a night off and stuck to water :P

Welcome back Hjall! Hope you had a good time mate.

Why did you rewatch SW 7? Are you some kind of a masochist?

Noice I like me mate it's very cold. [CENSORED]. U Kylo ren for killing Han.

I prefer to think the last film had nothing to do with Star Wars. And I try to talk some neurons into giving up their charges on having read about Disney planning on continuing the franchise until forever.

I like the new cast but they changed most of what we thought is going to happen

Exactly how does a planet exploding create a very neat sun of exactly the same size as the original planet at the end. Seriously, I have problems with this.
Also Leia walks RIGHT PAST CHEWIE at the end to hug Rey. No no no no no no no.

It certainly did have some issues, that's for sure.

The reality of time also frustrates me. there is only a 33 year gap between the 6th and the 7th movie. Yet somehow, the Empire or "First Order" managed to form into another galaxy superpower in this period of time. While I'm on the topic of time, how did the Empire create a second functional Death Star shortly after the first was destroyed. Then you have Star killer Base. also within a 33 year gap they managed to cut deep into the planet/moon/thingy's surface without it blowing up, build an elaborate system that runs in a ring around the planet*, and install a giant death laser. So they did all this in 33 years?

I understand it's for plot purposes, but you could save the plot line for another movie, or come up with some explanation for it.

P.S if you drop a Light saber in a Gas Giant it would hit the small rocky core at the center and break.

*(btw Starkiller is about a 1200 diameter, Death Star is about a 120 diameter, and New York City is about 790 km^2)

That is a very good point my friend. Realistically, that would be impossible in 33 years. And anyway, you'd think someone would realise a huge replica of the Death Star was being built and report it. Thanks Disney for your brilliant logic.

After being here for a few months, I only just noticed the names of the officers. Wow. Whoever came up with them deserves a medal.

It was Maniacal, I believe.

I officially award myself the medal of Inane Linguistic Acrobatics.
I'd like to thank myself for giving me this medal and Lamebrainia for the idea to do so.

Red and blue fish

A Memorable Fancy.

As I was walking among the fires of hell, delighted with the
enjoyments of Genius; which to Angels look like torment and
insanity.
I collected some of their Proverbs: thinking that as
the sayings used in a nation, mark its character, so the Proverbs
of Hell, shew the nature of Infernal wisdom better than any
description of buildings or garments.

When I came home; on the abyss of the five senses, where a
flat sided steep frowns over the present world.
I saw a mighty
Devil folded in black clouds, hovering on the sides of the rock,
with corroding fires he wrote the following sentence now
percieved by the minds of men, & read by them on earth.

How do you know but ev'ry Bird that cuts the airy way,
Is an immense world of delight, clos'd by your senses five?

The average life span is down to 35! We are going to need more children for the factories. Anyone willing to ship in children?

I'll send a shipment of the finest child slaves right away. Besides, I don't need even need them anyway as I don't have any factories.

Dystopian land

If anyone needs some fine quality children, bred for manual labour, feel free to ask for a trade route.

Really, manual labor? I've bred mine to be perfect warriors from birth. I mean seriously who needs manual labor children, when you can just conquer your enemies and enslave them to do it. Sure they die quickly from the poor living conditions and the very frequent executions of the weak, but hey whats human life when you make a few *Raecs.
