Hooray, Scotland voted no! Next question: Should Alex Salmond be exiled to some independent country?

In response to that question, Disc, my answer would have to be "Hell, no!" (That's twice I have said that to you now. It's becoming a habit. *playful grin*)
Salmond has done the entirety of the UK a service. He has highlighted the amount of discontent with Westminster, and not only from the Scots. Maybe 'together' we can get heard at last, and make the government listen to the people. For too long it has been deaf to the concerns of the masses. I, for one, intend to stand alongside the Scottish and make sure that David 'Second Thatcher' Cameron honours his promises. If he does not, then Scotland is welcome at my house and we can go to Westminster in the morning, unified. Cameron was right about one thing. We are better together. Law of avergaes dictates that, after all this time, he was bound to say something truthful eventually.

I have never been an expert, but i always thought I am kind of an Otter (when it comes to those categories), but what is a LION? A more active, blonde Otter with facial hair? :)

Maybe I have to redefine myself...

According to many people, a lion is a furry, skinny, muscular man.

Mark is out of surgery and doing well. Hopefully I'll get to see him soon.

Great news! When i came out of surgery, I wanted donuts. Lots of them. Just sayin'.
Wish him a speedy recovery from me, please. I am sure everyone here wishes him (and you) well.

Glad he's doing we'll hope he recovers quickly.

He will have to go through some physical therapy to restore mobility and pain-free use of his leg, but in the long run he will be fine, thanks!

lol the song doesn't lie. showed today at least.
on another note, anyone else been paying attention to the e-bola situation. apparently some group attacked a village infected with it, and some scientists were killed. now i know why we sent 3000 troops to help.

Hoping that the physical therapy reinforces a positive outcome — glad the surgery seems to have gone off well.

Hot Guy of the Week #14

This week it's Aaron Milo, a gay actor that I may or may not have a celebrity crush on... ;)

He stars as 'Benji' in the films Eating Out 4 and 5. Seems to have disappeared from the radar in the last two years though.

OK, the BF goes to bed shortly after getting home and I soon join him. Three hours later, he's yelling at me for not having his supper ready when he woke up and I hadn't gone to get his medicine (which he doesn't need until tomorrow). In short order, I fix some supper for both of us (he doesn't finish his supper he was so famished for) and I go off to the 24-hour pharmacy to fill his three scripts. I get back, explain what the medicines are, where I put them, when he needs to take them, and because his doctor didn't give him anything for nausea, I give him my extra bottle of anti-nausea medicine, then explain to him again that ***I*** have given him this medicine, not the doctor.

It's going to be a long three weeks. At least while he was down, I was able to arrange for supper for us for the next two weeks. Tomorrow I travel to the middle of the state to do a photo shoot of a wedding (his step-niece). I hope he can remember where I am.

Have fun. Recovering from surgery sucks. If I have any experience, it's with people recovering from surgery. In about a year I'm getting jaw surgery. They are basically going into my mouth sawing my jaw apart and moving it forward. I'll have my mouth wired shut for some weeks. That'll suck. It was surgery or some bulky mouth device. 2 years with a bulky contraption or 2 months of recovery.

Why do you need jaw surgery Otis?
