Sorry for triple post. I've added a discussion topic on the forum:

Would you take HIV drugs to help prevent yourself getting infected?

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-31601042

"Healthy gay men should be offered daily HIV drugs to prevent infections, say campaigners.

A UK study, on 545 high-risk men, found one case of HIV could be stopped for every 13 men treated for a year.

The research team says it would be similar to the pill for women and would not encourage risky sex.

The findings have been described as a "game changer" and the NHS is considering how to adopt them."

Welcome to Gay, Great freude!

Now is a great time to review your endorsements. Endorsing the WA Delegate, BearNation, effectively doubles your (and Gay's) influence in the WA.

Some of you are too smart for school! ;) The largest number of you were correct in naming Coco Montrese and Pacifistic Pacifists as BN's ST nations in the region!

I just ended my relationship and now NationStates gives me an issue about divorce ._.

Also, it is fun to be exactly the 2400th most endorsed state in NationStates :P

That was a sarcastic yay

My Xbox clan fell apart this week. Power struggle. I guess all these no life 30 year olds don't want an18 year old leading them. Had 60 people. Then when the district leaders start leaving, communication stops, and everything falls a part. I guess it isn't totally dead because I still have 15 people, but it's really bad.

Enjoy wearing suits just because I like to look nice and professional. I've built up a resistance to heat because I stand at attention in a gym for 1:30 with it on. I wear polo's, khaki's, and nice button down shirts most of the time. Just because I want to look good in public.

I never had xbox live. My buddy Clarence and I used to play it all the time, and then one time he was at my house, and we hadn't played in a while, like a few months, and I turn it on, put a disc in, and it wouldn't read. That was like two years ago. And I don't miss the xbox at all.

I wear sweat pants every day, I used to wear jeans but on the first day it was sorta cold, I wore sweats, and I've worn them since. When I go out to dinner with my family, I'll wear jeans and a nice t shirt. Or. For like. Dances and stuff. I dress up, you know, a dress shirt and tie. Which is what I have to do tomorrow for a mock job interview for core class. Really the only problem I have with dressing up, is my shoes. My dress shoes are about 12 sizes too small. I've had them since freshman year, and they are sooo uncomfortble. I do like getting dressed up, though, because I'm like you know what? I actually look halfway descent. Everybody has to dress up for core class tomorrow. There's 18 of us, like 10 guys, and I'll probably be the only one with a tie clip.

My girlfriend's brother, I guess he and his friends used to have tea and tie tuesday, so every tuesday, they would drink tea in the morning and wear a dress shirt and tie.

Fabulous rainicorns

I would love to wear a suit if I had one, but according to my mom, "women can't wear suits or ties."

I'm really looking forward to the anime club event in a couple weeks where I get to wear a tie.

I misread this one as you having to dress the cat up in a tie. I was thinking good luck with that.

A lot of us will add [/sarcasm] at the end of a sarcastic statement just to be clear about the nature of it.

A lot of people end up having to wear coat & tie/formal dresses to work ever day as per company policy or just common sense (for instance if you were a salesperson at a fine clothing establishment, you wouldn't want to wear your Goth outfit to work.

Oh joy! [/sarcasm]

Then again, if you do some or all of your work from home, as is becoming more popular, you can do your work in jammies or in the buff! I took a bit of perverse pride in working sometimes bear-butt naked. ;)

That appears likely, assuming we don't have any massive puppet die-offs or migrations [looking at Marsaries] and we don't have an outburst of toxic drama.

Be aware, though, that in 3-4 months we will start "Summer Death Syndrome" when recruiting will likely slow down or possibly go negative as NS shrinks during the summer when people who'd be at their computers during the school year rediscover the great outdoors, go to camp, get involved in a summer soccer league, etc. That usually lasts 3-4 months and growth will pick up again in the fall, as people return to school and (for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere) the weather cools down, and NS starts experiencing positive growth again. Then again, with NS++ on our side, we might actually continue to grow, even if more slowly, during the summer months. This is really new territory for us.

Every proper English person knows that Tea Time is in the afternoon, not in the morning! :)

My dad used to wear slacks and a dress shirt and tie every day. He was an accountant. He ruined quite a few dress shirts with pens. Now he wears scrubs pants all the time. He calls them "dress scrubs." Hell, I don't even think he owns a single tie or dress shirt anymore.

In gaming and the rest of the online world, the reverse is quite true..the video games industry takes a significant boost as more and more of us find time to stay home and play(the outernet is dangerous ;~;) and as such the online world takes a boost. This is especially so with the steam summer sales.

Regarding the poll: doesn't apply, don't have a social/sex life :p
