Germany is already practically Nordtürkei, the extra immigrants and refugees aren't really going to make a difference. You have to realize that Germany isn't going to last as a nation when they're not breeding, so they need foreigners to supplement their crippling fertility rate.
How easy? Closing borders is not easy. One order can do that, so technically it is. But it is big deal and great decision, so practically it's hard.

Yes there are many German people of Turkish descent living in certain areas in Germany due to the Gastarbeiter (guest worker) programme, but they are, first and foremost, German at this point (except the first generation of immigrants of course but many if not most are German by law now as well).

It's 1,38 in Germany, first thing you see on google. Also the welfare lines are so big because how the f*ck are they gonna find a job within months. Also the economic climate hasn't been particularly great the last couple of years. You gotta look at the long term. The Turks seem to be doing fine over there nowadays, and more immigration is the only way if Germany wants to remain at the forefront of European economics, politics and social progress.
