Apox wrote:I think I inducted myself (awkz) but after that don't think so

So one can induct themselves then?

From this point on the Esportivan Hall of Fame is just a shrine to Paradystopia because I say so ... Mwhahaha.

In all seriousness, it would seem reasonable to induct Apox as entry number 3. As for number 4, suggestions on a postcard I guess.

Final results have been posted!

Thanks for making this tourney lovely.

Prior to the final of the CE, Buyan nominated Nephara as the fourth inductee to the Campionato. I'm happy to second this.
Does anyone have any objections (barring the Brenecians) to making Nephara our fourth Hall of Famer?

Shytysle wrote:Does anyone have any objections

Well actually-

Shytysle wrote:(barring the Brenecians)

... bollocks.

I forgot to mention earlier... I think the plan we were originally doing was inducting the highest ranked non inducted nation after each CE provided they've got over 40 points.

The Licentian Isles - inducted after CE IX (59 points at time of induction)

The Licentian Isles are one of the foremost sporting nations in Esportiva, and have been a dominant force in the Campionato Esportiva. They hosted the second edition of the tournament - which was also the first one they participated in, and were the winners of the 3rd and 7th editions of the tournament. Since CE VI, they have reached the semi-finals of each tournament they've been involved in.

Cyborg Holland/Uitbregen - inducted after CE X (56 points at time of induction)

Our regional founders and glorious overlords make it into the Hall of Fame. The Cyborg Dutch are perhaps the unluckiest nation to have never won the competition itself, and they were a dominant team in the earlier editions of the tournament, finishing third in the 3rd, 7th and 8th editions of the tournament, as well as finishing second twice, to Apox in CE V and New Sideburn in CE VI. They are also one of two nations to have competed in every CE to date.

Apox - inducted after CE XI (54 points at time of induction)

Apox are twice winners of the CE, the first team to claim a second title, and so far, the only nation to have successfully defended their CE victory, in CE V. Since their victories, they haven't been as prominent a player in regional competition, reaching the semi finals only once, in CE VII. Apox is also one of the elite few nations to have hosted the tournament twice, in CE IV and CE VIII.

Nephara - inducted after CE XV (78 points at time of induction)

Since arriving on the regional scene in CE VI, Nephara have taken the region by storm - getting a record 4 titles in the 6th, 8th, 10th and 15th editions of the tournament as well as never going out of the tournament earlier than the round of 16. What really stands them out is the consistency they've performed with, always looking threatening for a title and nearly always being the top ranked nation in the 10 tournaments they've participated in. Truly, a deserving HoF member.

Northern Sunrise Islands - inducted after CE XVI (56 points at time of induction)

...You're telling me I need to type something about myself?
Yeah, mate. History purposes, you know.
Kinda don't, actually.
Just tell 'em what you did prior to this point you're currently in.
Oh, you mean me and Ki-
Sports-wise!
Doesn't sound like fun at all, man.
Oh, come on, mate.
Let's see. If memory doesn't fail me, Northern Sunrise Islands isn't exactly one to claim numerous titles, their biggest pride had always been the youth, often playing some young and rather obscure sides instead of their more quality players.
...And?
Well, then the Sunrisians joined the Unified Sunrise Islands conundrum. Most Northern Sunrisians became their elite thanks to being more focused on aspects such as sports while the others were more war-related and whatnot. CE-wise, the Vaporeons failed to lift a title, but the Senators did win Esportiva's club competition once. Beyond that, Neph, that prick, beat me twice on the CE finals on two heartbreaking losses. Still, we have prospered to the clear top point of Northern Sunrisian history, a World Cup win.
...Before me.
You wanted a job, don't blame me.
Think that's a wrap. Told you that you could do it.
...I kinda Googled everything.
...'kin hell, mate.

Read factbook

From that reckoning, Neph would be the next person to be inducted. Having just checked, the last induction occurred after CE XI, do we want to go back and fill in the missing cycles or just go "f*ck it" and not do them?

I say 'Sod it' to back-dating inductees and carry on as stated above from this point on.
Might have a play with the spreadsheet to give two separate tables (1 overall points and 1 an average per tournament or similar) then we can have a good old argument/vote to wind up future CE's over who (if anyone ...) gets into the HoF each cycle.

On a related note, do we have an ETA for the CEdC's completion?

Works starting tomorrow, will be up before Friday.

Just claiming this name for future RP use. Yes, this is the same Falatulu that is part of the Free Republics.

Translation: work starting tomorrow, will be up in two months after many unplanned delays and existential reckonings (three, the last of which will mimic a Kierkegaardian leap), then I will quit and finish the CEdC

For soccer...The first tournaments in a cycle are the regional ones like Campionato Esportiva,Copa Rushmore...but they already happened. Then,we have the Baptism of Fire,a tournament for new nations/teams/users that ofc never played a cycle before can enter in it to gain RP experience,KPB bonus for they can participate in the World Cup Qualifiers and then the final stages of the World Cup.
The Baptism of Fire of the cycle is in the 3rd place decision and final now,but you can join WCQ without playing the BoF but could be better for you play the BoF for you can gain a KPB bonus before the WCQ.But it's your decision,i'll wait until the next BoF for can participate,so you can join now.
You can, also play friendly tournaments like the on execution Trindl Cup

Handball...was unactivated until i reopen it and the World Cup already ended a few weeks ago,and great tournament of other sports like Hockey/Baseball/College Football is happening too.Be attent and you'll join it.

Does someone send a telegram asking for people to join or do I have to contact someone?

These tournaments have a signup thread.Only say that you are signing up for it and then it shall begin soon after the Everything Thread was created and then you can poster a roster and begin to poster your RPs.
The telegrams is only sent in the Cup of Harmony (a tournament for the best teams and RPers that wasn't qualified for the World Cup),this cup happens after the World Cup Qualifiers.

Vague, but it has been 33 days since Sarian said that

It's only Feb 1, he's got another 11 months to do it!

Right, yeah, sorry, I've been a bit bogged down with school work atm.

It's on my to todo list, for when I have time. Shouldn't be /too/ long...

Not sure if I'm allowed to do so, but for those of you who have 'mid-season' (so not in a UICA transfer window after the season) transfers or would just like to help me out, there are three opportunities lined up in the IDSN thread. Thanks all!
