Is your friend the founder of Janetland? If so, they can just remove the raiders. If not, they should poke the founder! :)

So… does anyone have an opinion on how my country is like?

Natives?

What is wrong with helping Natives?

It's the touch of neo-colonialism...
It's the "poor little natives"-approach...

Tonight, Astarial will return to the poor guys to dam their rivers, break down their mountains and pollute their grassy plains. Just for hard profit.

"Government Theme: =undefined. IS NO ONE GOING TO SUGGEST ANYTHING??????"

Um....Government theme is determined by the Chief Minister (The Monkye) and is currently Game of Thrones. All government activity happens on the offsite forums.

Wait, should we suggest stuff here or offsite? And if offsite, then where?

It is probably time for a change of theme, we've had Game of Thrones for a while.

I'm happy to field suggestions from the RMB and decide on them via the in-game poll, but we do have to keep in mind that the theme relates mostly to names we have for government related positions, like the Delegate, Founder, Chief Minister, Senate, etc - good themes can often include names for the citizenry though.

For reference, we have a Themed Government Act, which can be found here: http://www.equilism.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=14458 (May or may not be viewable based on forum permissions)

The text is as follows:

Themed Government Act

1. Any time a new Chief Minister is elected, they may choose to apply a theme to governmental names, functions and positions. The Chief Minister does not need to have permission in advance from either the Senate or Founder.

2. Barring the occurrence of elections, the selected theme may not be changed for a period of three months. After three months have passed, the Chief Minister may implement a new theme if desired.

3. The Chief Minister may propose a single theme, or may offer the Senate a chance to vote on multiple options.

4. If the Chief Minister chooses not to use a theme, the terms defined in the Constitution will be the default.

5. The Senate may object to any theme and vote it away by a simple majority. If the vote passes, the default terms shall be used. The Chief Minister may not propose another theme for a period of three months.

6. A reference guide containing information about the current theme, as well as all previous themes, must be kept up to date by the Chief Minister.

7. In all official legal documents, governmental names, functions and positions as defined by the Constitution shall be used.

Hello.

I can't believe it's almost time for our next round of WAD elections, a month sure passes quickly. People are welcome to throw their hat in the ring and challenge Patrimonium Petri for the title, although he has been doing a wonderful job.

But let's not let that distract us from enjoying the Christmas period however you may celebrate it (or not celebrate it, if that's your thing).

Hi guys! I'm back, again! Definitely going to be able to get more involved in everything and be active now. Things are really turning around in my life. :)
Still gotta do some work to get Isaris looking back to normal and then I'm gonna start sticking my nose in everywhere! Muhahahaha!

Oooh yes! I wonder if anybody will rise to challenge for the seat!

Pat, I recommend you start the vote a day or so after Christmas, so anybody who wants to run should go ahead and declare yourself!
