Our town restored wrote:Wait, doesn't The Alicorns still need to wipe out San palomino? The war hasn't stopped; there's no reason to kill my people.

Nope. Peaced in return for myself paying reparations. This is a completely unrelated war. I'll play the part of war profiteer. Y'know, sell weapons, ammo, robots that have powers over ice... Other than those books I gave you, any other help from me will be earned in cold, hard, bits. See you around.

Our town restored wrote:And as much as you may dislike me, you don't want all of those innocent ponies to die, do you?

Hey, you're all equal, right?

So if even one of you is guilty of any wrongdoing, all of you are. No innocents here.

I mean, I could spout some propaganda like "if we can liberate even some of you from your cutie mark theft, it'll be better than liberating none of you" or "I'm willing to kill half of you if it means saving the other half", but really, I'm not trying to keep the moral high ground here. I just want to demolish the moral cliff so nopony can claim to have it.

Our town restored wrote:Wait, doesn't The Alicorns still need to wipe out San palomino?

She tried to make peace. No response yet, but things are obviously winding down.

She takes the books in her levitation field. "Finally, thank you." she says before she teleports back to Our Town.
Upon arrival, she sprints to the research and development department.
The door crashes open, as white light gleams from fluorescent lamps embedded in the ceiling.
"TAKE THESE!" Starlight yells at a saturated blue and black unicorn as she shoves the books at him.
"AAAH, YOUUUU SUCK!" he exclaims as he catches them, "Don't do that, Starly!"
"Sorry Darkest, but this is important. These are the books."
He sets down the books as he glances over the covers. "Divisions of Export?"
"Concealment spell."
His horn glows a bright purple as the books suddenly transform. What was once embossed text suddenly becomes scattered hoofwriting.
"Twilight Sparkle's spellbooks!" he cries in delight, "I thought she destroyed these when she left!"
"Well apparently she didn't. Now, can you decipher them?"
He flips through the pages, eyes ablaze with wonderment. "I think so, but it may take a while."
Starlight looks at him questionably. "How long, exactly?"
He glances back. "Maybe a week, but wasn't there a certain passage you needed?"
"Yes, volume 7, page 15. Multiversal communication."
"I still don't understand how you know all of this, but it works."
He flips to the page.
"Alright, here we go. It's vague, but I think I can decipher it. It requires Alicorn magic though, and we don't re-"
Starlight taps him on the shoulder with her wing.
He blushes with embarrassment. "Oh. Oh yeah. That's a thing now; I forgot."
"Now's not the time. Get translating."
"I'll need a few hours," he states as he walks over and opens a cabinet, "but it should be ready by then."
"Ok, get working. Notify me when it's ready; we don't have much time."
She runs out of the room.

Our town restored wrote:Let's just say she was an alicorn from the beginning, and didn't have to become one through magical means.
Or something.

Seems like I'm not the only one who's having some fourth-wall-aware fun :)

((I myself am having trouble deciding. I guess she became an alicorn through some means, but I can't fathom how she would be able to do it.))

Hey! That's my schtick!

*grumbles something about primitives lacking the neural faculties to get their own ideas.*

Huh, a war has started without me? I knew I was taking too long planning the ceremony. Hope she likes the cake I ordered.

Also, Regional Offices coming to your region soon!

"Sir! The Alicorns have a message for you! They want to make pea-'

"Not now, Yesmare! Can't you see I'm trying out my new wetware!"

The stallion flexes his new set of wings in front of a mirror, the guilded crest of San Palomino gleams from the chest plate of the red armored dermal plating.

"Oh... Umm, sorry to bother you sir, but it is urgent..."

The butter yellow Pegasus shuffles her hooves as the stallion activates the magic enhancing implants and saddle blasters.

"Fine! Out with it. The sooner you tell me, the sooner you and I can go back to admiring myself." The stallion gives a smile and wink into the mirror, before taking a sip from a soda with a bendy straw.

"They, ummm... They want to make peace... If that's alright with you."

The stallions eyes go wide as he chokes on the Soda.

"They whaaaat?!"

... The war has come to an end before it even escalated. We, with our superior science and might, have dissuaded any hostilities, no doubt because of our inherent and obvious superiority. And it is with undue glee, that I declare this day be a holiday, know as 'National Aquila, high president, CCO, CEO, and PhD DDS Supreme is our Hero day!' Aquila is awesome cakes for everypony...

The main resource I'm using up right now is napalm, so really I'd rather trade with Quintolania.

The country that is on fire all the time miiiight not be the best one to buy highly flammable/explosive things from. Not if you want the shipment to arrive intact.

Go with the multiverse shenanigans. When one can find a nation on eternal fire, eldritch horrors in a goddess's literal basement, and the entire place somehow staying together despite the massive collateral damage, multiverse shenanigans aren't all that farfetched.

You're not giving me enough credit! It's not like I use WOODEN boxes to ship my napalm!

I use cardboard ones. With packing peanuts. I'm safety personified.

Dragoria, The Alicorns, and Our town restored

Parliament has been restored and the Treaty of Katokia has been ratified.

Armetesia will now grudgingly abide under the new surrender terms:
1. The Shetland Dynasty has been executed and power will soon be transferred to the Horseburg family.
2. Until the monarchy is restored, Armetesia will be a protectorate of The Alicorns (est. 1 month)
3. All resources produced by Armetesia will go to Skyla's dominions.
4. Armetesia cannot declare war on any foreign entity for the next four months.
5. Ponyville/Everfree and Marechigan will be seceded to The Alicorns.
6.Our town restored will obtain all of Armetesia's offshore colonies.

Armetesia will spare no expense in efforts to improve Equestria.

To commemorate there victory, the former Armeteain embassy in The Alicorns(now the Office for Western Colonial Affairs) will be building a massive botanical monument to Skyla's victory.

Why am I getting these messages from an address in the especially burnt area in Sector Sol? I'll just dump it. Probably nothing important. Back to the practicing and the arms dealing. Such is Equestrian life.

Instead of reposting, I'll just point anyone who's interested in my commentary on the latest episode to my post in Pony Lands. Yes, spoilers.

Not brown packing paper? Amazon uses rolls of the stuff, get with the times.

The Alicorns wrote:It will be the next Quintolania for a bit. By that I mean it's on fire. And utterly irradiated. Replica Utsuho, fire. Level Lunatic. Show them the heat of hell's Subterranean Sun.

Our town restored wrote:That works.

Rather hard to accept a peace treaty from a nation whose territory I exposed to miniature stars. And promptly annexed the new wastelands as an entire province. Plus, I don't do temporary protectorates. Once you're here, you're here forever.

Just use gelatinous gasoline! It allows for a fluctuating barrier, meaning that the napalm is protected from impact!
Much safer than using *scoffs* packing peanuts like commonfolk.

Oh, for whatever reason I thought you proposed it, not Armetesia.

What? I quite literally stated my wargoals were to capture and hold Ponyville and the Everfree, and wipe Armetesia off the map. The closest things I recognize as an Armetesian government are the Sector Sol administration (which look over nothing but miles upon miles of irradiated wastes) and the long lobotomied and robotized former Emperor on Mars (who now obviously can't rule and kinda has no surviving kin on account of them getting a really intense suntan).

No, I mean it looked like you were the one who posted it. For whatever reason it didn't load all the way and it had your name as the poster.

It's because of his government type "Alicornian Protectorate". I never use such a type in any of my puppets. Plus, it was his idea for the treaty.

Ok, my mistake.
In that case, EXTERMINATUS!
