I'm curious, what sort of law enforcement are we talking about? If its anything like these guys (http://www.inquisition-art.net/images/kazn/Koster/burning-01.jpg), I'm gonna say no.

It's basically an international group promoting cooperation, with limited jurisdiction. In the link, the agency's powers are specifically mentioned

O God,
by whose mercy the faithful departed find rest,
look kindly on your departed veterans who gave their
lives in the service of their country.
Grant that through the passion, death, and resurrection of your Son
they may share in the joy of your heavenly kingdom
and rejoice in you with your saints forever.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Amen.

Sorry for insisting, but I'm quite interested. Does anyone know how is it going the map issue?

Mmm, update later tonight, I should think. No one's telegrammed me with any updates, either.

Ok, I just wanted to know about that longstanding claims you said about the negotiation with Dorne of Sunspear. If they're not a problem for my "Balkan intentions" and it's all about waiting new telegrams everything's ok.

Raindrop Valley International News: 27 May 2015

Good evening and welcome to RIN, Raindrop Valley International News.

I’m Shannon Cole.

In Raindrop valley RIN’s news service has reopened after a suspicious fire attack destroyed its head office. The news service is now fully operational and has restored all television, radio and newspaper services. The head of Vallian Police has said the attack appeared to be an Islamic terrorist attack, but did not elaborate.

In Central Pacific Empire, the Government has passed legislation to amend the Inter-Regional Cooperation Treaty. The new treaty cements the region’s ties with the Federation of Free States and also puts potential merger talks to bed. The Prime Minister, Lenteric2 is yet to announce the approve to the Emperor for Gazettal.

RIN will formally close its Petria bureau and reopen in the [region]Coalition of Catholic States[/nation] which is now settled in as a once again thriving Catholic-based region. RIN CEO, John Davies, says RIN is pleased to be back in its old CCS office.

Moving across to our reporters at The Commonwealth of Crowns, the government has approved the opening of three new embassies with United Group, United States of America and The Roleplay Government.

The Confederation of nations Gabrova has been forced to apologize and backtrack on explosive comments made on the regional message board which slandered the region and its constituents.

In The Commonwealth of Kings, the regional bank and gambling system has been shut down amid concerns about the lack of regulation. The systems will be down indefinitely until the systems are regulated. This provides a lesson for other regions similarly considering those issues.

I don't mind the current government.

The CCS Founder wrote:So, who wants regional government elections? cause we are like a year overdue

It would be good if that means life to the region but, personally, it would be great too to hold the polls Friday 12 or later.

So shall we set elections for July 20th?
We will need to elect a new council consisting of five, and a new chancellor, as I will be retiring from office after this election

I am announcing my candidacy for Chancellor.

I should go ahead and clarify that I will not be endorsing any canadites for any offices.

Dorne of sunspear

I guess I could have a go at being a council member again. Consider my hat in the ring.

For the sake of keeping it all organised will everyone who want to run for office tg The CCS Founder that will allow me to keep an exact list of the canadites.

Thus far I have four running for council and one running for chancellor. I ask that anyone else who has considered it at all to announce there candidacy.

Raindrop Valley International News: 15 June 2015

Good evening and welcome to RIN, Raindrop Valley International News.

I’m Shannon Cole.

In Raindrop valley the Governor-General has flown into Emperor islands capital city after taking the role of Governor of the regional capital. The Governor-General says he will restore the city’s architectural pride whilst also protecting the prominence of Catholic institutions in the city.

“Our regional capital has fine Catholic institutions, particularly around Saint Zeno’s Cathedral precinct. As Governor, I will maintain and enhance these to bring about their greater presence in the city,” said Governor-General of Raindrop valley.

In Central Pacific Empire, Prime Minister Lentheric2 has come under fire for his disconnection to the public and failing to act responsively to the Imperial Council and community concerns. The Conservative dominated Council has led the attacks, noting the Prime Minister’s slow responses and lack of enthusiasm for brokering deals to have legislation passed. The most recent farce saw the Prime Minister refuse to remove the vote on the defence reform, despite the majority Conservative Party stating it would not vote for the law with the inclusion of recruitment policy. This comes just days before the next election period is about to launch, with the Prime Minister’s chance of re-election looking alarmingly low.

In the [region]Coalition of Catholic States[/nation] candidates for the governing Council and Chancellor are now coming forward ahead of forthcoming elections. This will be the first full election in the region since its refounding, with the population again steadily growing, with at least four new member states since the end of May.

Moving across to our reporters at The Commonwealth of Crowns, Picts have announced the engagement and forthcoming wedding of King Richard and the future Queen Lily James after the King formerly asked for her hand in marriage. Queen Tilda, the Queen Mother, is said to have approved of the proposal.

The Confederation of nations Cfn minister of foreign affairs has begun a tour of other regions to undertake a foreign policy report. No results have yet been forthcoming, however this comes amid a concerning level of regional inactivity.

In The Commonwealth of Kings, the region is working toward establishing a regional government. To date the support for this has been very slow coming, but expected to ramp up once the regional population slightly grows. The region’s population currently stands at 21 nations.

Raindrop Valley International News: 16 June 2015

Good evening and welcome to RIN, Raindrop Valley International News.

I’m Shannon Cole.

In Raindrop valley the Governor-General remains in Emperor islands capital city and has cut the ribbon on the new Central Square project which will form a large urban square in the centre of the capital city between the Imperial Palace and Government House. A 50 metre high statue of Saint Zeno will stand in the centre of the Square as its centrepiece project. The Governor-General of Raindrop valley, currently Governor of the Regional Capital, has said, “our city really needs a central urban open space that is a centre for people to interact with the amazing and historic architecture of our Imperial Palace and Government House. It will be a place for civic gatherings and also a testament to our past.”

In Central Pacific Empire, the government has fallen into almost complete disarray with some political commentators saying it is almost in collapse just four days ahead of the next election. The Prime Minister Lentheric2 was damned by the Supreme Judge Love island for blaming the Judiciary over delays in adopting a new procedures guide for the courts. The delay has come about as the Imperial Council are yet to re-vote on the legislation, after the Aanon bay failed to recommend the legislation for gazettal due to the May-June elections. For the first time, Emperor and founder Salay issued a polite but stern warning that government officials should respect the various branches of the regional government. The matter remains unresolved.

In the Coalition of Catholic States there has been no further progression on Council elections. The Central Pacific Empire also unexpectedly withdrew their ambassador from the region as the re-founding of the Coalition of Catholic States led to an oversight in re-opening of embassies. Raindrop valley has raised concern with this decision within the Conservative Alliance party room, and is awaiting an official response from the party. Raindrop valley’s Governor-General has called the move ‘unacceptable’ as we’ve had ties with the Catholic region for years.

Moving across to our reporters at The Commonwealth of Crowns, Alafar have announced their invasion of their troops into the United Jewish States after simmering tensions between the neighbouring states. Picts have urged Alafar from using force to settle tensions, and instead open up dialogue with the Jewish State.

The Confederation of nations Vazdaria has expressed his wishes for our news service to leave the region. Vazdaria is the region’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, and is also the Minister who originally supported legislation to ban the news service from publishing news without the approval of the regional government. The attitude of the Foreign Affairs Minister sets a bad image for this regional government’s international image and will continue to tarnish the region’s growth prospects, which have lately been dismal.

In The Commonwealth of Kings, polls will shortly open for an election to establish a regional government. So far, Father motherland has been the most vocal campaigner, standing for ‘strong democracy through innovative solutions’.
