I know that you have a completely corrupt government, so think about what would happen to your economy if you went to war with a nation that has the ability to completely cut you off from all the other nations, trade partners if you will, without even having to invade any of your holdings. Think of all the money you would lose in a conflict with me, are the potential gains really outweighing the guaranteed losses?
