Well now that I think about it I was a kid back in the early 90's.. I might like a lot of those old shows now that my attention span is good enough to actually focus on them. I know I like Westerns now and I use to find those boring when I was younger.. I wonder if I watched my favorite cartoons from back then now if I'd still like them..

Taste in tv changes with age like your taste in food I guess.. I use to despise onions and now I love em..

On Netflix they have all the seasons. I find myself still watching it from time to time. Having been in the Army it is one of those shows you can relate too. Very anti-war as well.

What is ironic about the anti-war theme is that the original author of the book was conservative and fairly pro-war. Pretty ironic for it the television series to become a defining anti-war series.

Not familiar with the book but the TV show was inspired by the movie which was very anti-war. Actually it had to be toned down a lot for broadcast TV, to where I tend to think of the movie and RV as being 2 entirely different creatures.

I haven't seen the movie yet :3
