I'm not exactly a fan of his content either, but he does provide us humble internet dwellers with clips and reactions that hit the heart of the matter.
Why do people always put the globe on world flag propositions? It's like putting a map of your country on your flag.
It's different than putting a map on a nation's flag. We're essentially making a flag for our planet. It makes sense to have a map of the world on the flag for our world. I have more designs in mind that don't have it, but I think I like the ones with the map more. I am biased of course.
Igoria, Desertas, and Ahlanganisia
Exhibit A: Cyprus.
To elaborate:
When we make flags for our nations, we look for things to symbolize our nation on the flags. There's only one thing that symbolizes our world collectively: the planet. Also, banter, but mostly our planet.
And it conveys neutrality (although the sword sorta goes against that)
Like the UN flags for Cambodia, Bosnia, Antarctica, Cyprus and the UN flag itself.

One of the proposed possibilities as a representative flag of Earth.
Yes, I've seen this.
So it is possible to create a flag that doesn't have the planet on it. If anything, those one flags would probably be suited for UCAS or something.... with a bit of recoloring, considering that is pretty much our UN.
No one said it isn't possible... Welt asked why people were including globes and we were giving reasons for why we individually were including globes.
Glee is my jamz.
After hearing about it on the RMB, i've been thinking about getting EU4.
Get CKII instead, it's better. Or Victoria II if you want a challenge. Or Hearts of Iron III if you want an aneurysm.
Grand Britaria, Igoria, Rio de fuego, Blackhalm, and 1 otherMon balvedos
Is there anything as in-depth as EU 4 that has a focus on post WWII history? I've never found a good cold war game I liked.
I think there's Vicky II and HoI3 mods for that. Dunno how immersive they are though.
Darkest Hour and HoiII are very enjoyable. But CKII is always the best, so many fvcking A+ total conversions too. Game of Thrones, Elder Scrolls, After the End (Personal favorite), Warhammer, Crisis of the Confederation, Middle Earth, and probably more.
I don't know what it is about CKII but it really just doesn't click with me. Vicky 2 and Hoi3 ftw.
Praise be to EU4, king of all paradox games.
If you like micro-management, get Hearts of Iron III, if you want the opposite of a casual-stress relieving game, get Hearts of Iron III
