Most of these baskets are used to collect Nellie Scout Cookies. But come to think of it, if we could figure out a way to cheaply mass produce Nellie Scout Baskets...
The real reason is that dozens of someone's puppets died off awhile back, decreasing the total number of AO nations dramatically. Your basket-weaving rank is probably still the same. It's also impossible to get Top 1% in the region for anything anymore.
There's an easy solution to that: Equestrian States could just move all of his puppets here and then we'd be larger than ever...
New puppet of Free Republics/Saintland, btw. This one is a direct democracy with elected administrators that could probably best be described as socialist (but not conventionally so).
If/when the region gets 100 nations on a regular basis, then we could, via the FAQ:
A region must have at least ten members for one to receive a Top 10% icon, at least 20 members for a Top 5% icon, and at least 100 members for a Top 1% or #1 icon.
Some could interpret this as an invitation to create a bunch of puppets, colonies, semi-autonomous areas, etc., but then at some point logging in to all of them becomes such a chore that those also CTE. That puts us right back to where we are now.
Nah, during the AOCAF season, Nellie Scout Chance Cubes are in season - something about guaranteed randomness...
